Advice on bud development week 13 gelato
Hi everyone.
This is my first time growing.
This is gelato grown from seed in dwc
It’s about 13 weeks in switched to 12 hrs 2 weeks ago.
Been using canna products as directed but can’t decide when to add pk 13/14 because I’m not sure how the buds should look at 50% and ready
Any advice would be appreciated
If you need more information please ask 👍
Thanks
Advice on bud development week 13 gelato 2

Im adding in boosters (koolbloom for me, GH flora trio main nutes) probably around 3 or 4 weeks after flipping to flower.

Thanks for that 👍 so looking at my buds 2 weeks into flower another couple of weeks before adding in pk 13/14 ?
Maybe 6 weeks left in total ?
I know it’s a bit trial and error I’m just trying to get a feel for how they should look 👀 at certain stages.
I’ve only ever seen it dried and usable 😂

I don't use DWC but looking at the plant she's very healthy in my opinion and right on tract at 2wks.

@Iwishiknew - Week 3 of flower is when I start small dosing P/K's and increasing strength every mix thru wk 7
(I use MOAB 0-52-32, its hot!), Wks 4/5/6 will be her hungriest weeks (emphasis on wk 5) these are the weeks i use full dosages. she will be done stacking wks 6/7/8 (final fruit setting), after week 7 I drop way back on P/K, and I cut my Base Nutrients (grow/bloom), those final weeks 8/9/10+ she'll be fattening/ripening. I will keep dropping back on all nutrients until I am at Plain water by wk 9/10 (depending on varietals). In DWC I will run a 10-15% lighter on Nutrient Strength, I ran flood tables, rdwc, dwc for years, before I sold my Property, Im in a small condo now, and run perpetual grows in Coco, I dont care about yield too much anymore, topped once and I just let'em grow naturally(im always over my 2lb limit in house), I still run a couple simple bubble buckets in the winter months just to stay frosty! lol Cannabis loves the water!

There is a point where she will have all she needs to finish... and to keep pumping nutrients can be a detriment.
(MOAB is good stuff we tested this product on 9 plant flood tables, same strain side by sides= it works!)

Your Plant looks good, keep them water temps in range, keep a daily eye on the pH, towards the end I like frequent wkly full water changes to keep pathogens from colonizing. (video, current wk 6/7 clones in tan pots/seed plants in white, retired old pot farmer grow-lol)
Keep at it!

Absaloutley brilliant advice I will save this thanks 👍
I took some clones which I’m growing in a tent for growing mushrooms and other crops,
I think it’s a flood and drain bucket? Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Main issue I can see is humidity being up at a 90% +
I’m using exactly the same nutrient ph range ec etc.
Got 2 fans running but I don’t run lots of fresh air exchange because of mushrooms.
I’ve got a golden yellow canopy on 2 of the plants furthest away from in flow.
I’m thinking it’s maybe oxygen up take I added 2 air stones into the clay pebbles yesterday near the 2 yellowing plants also increased cal and mag slightly and decreased nutrient ec.
What would you keep your water temps at ? I’m at 20/21.
And whilst on the conversation of yield I’m not hugely fussed, this is for my own medicinal purposes I’m just trying to keep ahead of myself uk weed costs are outrageous.
How would you turn your clones around the quickest way ? I think once I have finished a few I will have a feel for it maybe 😂
I appreciate any advice given thanks so much.

Thanks
Excuse my brain, could you please explain it for me ?
So yellowing is low on ca ?

hi all
Just to say I think my ph was to high in certain parts of the tank set up, I’ve split the in flow in 2 and directed it more at the root zones.
The 2 little golden girls seem to be cheering up 👍
Proves the importance of good flow throughout.
Coming from an aquatic hobby I should maybe have checked that first 🤪
Thanks everyone
