Hey all. Im fairly new here, but have spent countless hours reading along and learning. I have a lot of experience helping on a grow, but im now beginning my first solo grow and learning as i go. So far so good and i feel im well prepped. I recently received my first batch of clones. They had nice roots going, and i received them in small little 4" pots. First thing i did was transplant them to 1 gallon pots, in fox farms ocean forest, utilizing big foot mycorrhizae in and around the planting hole. Im still learning a lot about npk, and feed schedules. In the long run i will be using earth juice grow, transition, and bloom (With a few other products that im working on a plan with). From my readings, it seems that ocean forest soil is a good potting soil that will give the plants what they need, atleast for the first few weeks. So my question is, what can i do as far as ppm testing, or otherwise to truly tell when the ocean forest has done its thing and its time to start feeding. The end game is for them to end up in 15 gallon pots for light dep. That soil will be amended with the assistance of a local friend, so my goal is to have healthy soil, and only feed them every few waterings. But for now, Would you suggest that i begin giving them some earth juice grow in very very light moderation? Or let them ride out the ocean forest soil for awhile, and just keep a close eye for when they begin to show deficiencies. I will include some pics of the clones. I received them from a local older guy. Hes been farming forever so he knows what hes doing, but i couldnt guarentee they were clean so i gave them a floramite dunk before transplant. With that being said, opinions on the clones? And if there is any troublesome things you spot, they were from an issue pre-dunk. I just got them, so any issues you spot is how i got them, not from my doing, so please advise on any observations. Thanks all! *** edit*** i have dropped those lights way down on the plants. this was when they just went into the veg room as i was setting up
