Nice. I checked them out, and glad to hear how companies operate.
I was in southern WI in 80s so this makes sense.I know you guys have read this already I’m just bringing it back up again *~*

“I did once get to see a bag of this herb that belonged to someone else. It looked like rotted, black leaf, some leaves intact but crumpled, plus a powdery black shake. It had no particular odor other than sweet spicy moldy hay, and rolled best into thin pinjoints.”
DJ
“The smoke was slightly harsh, but with a very deep, rich flavor. I also recall that it produced lots of white smoke. Anyhow, this stuff was dangerous! I often questioned if it was truly pure herb. I have, however, sampled the same product from different sources at different times, all with the same story.”

“Well, just read an entire thread about it in another forum. It seems the famous "African" Black Magic imported to the US in the 70's/80's could have been some "plain" Jamaican herb that underwent some underground fermentation (this causing the buds to turn black or chocolate).”
The interesting thing about the Jamaican
I’ve had, Jamaican in Jamaica and I had some in the late 70s Chicago ( 1/4 pound a friend of mine got was just long narrow Buds no shake. The buds were the stickiest syrupiest brown dark sweet tasting pot I have ever had in my life…Completely different than the strains like Maui Wowie back then… to this day I wonder how and where it was grown and how it was cured (all these years later I wonder if it was wrapped and fermented somehow ???
I’ll never know most likely!
Oh, The high was good, but it was nothing like the red and gold Colombians & Maui wow for that matter.
So I don’t know guys, a part of me wants to believe in Bam & Part wants to say yes the strain exists, but it was cured in some strange way…?????
I smoked African in the 80s Northern Illinois University and southern Illinois university… Southern Illinois university was the source and grow area it was very potent grown in Macanda Il. in a valley and a very hilly area with streams
(high humidity high heat Long growing season).
Also, Mentioned in past about the cure possibly turning it black cuz again, it was not a purple plant. I never saw shake, just buds.I know you guys have read this already I’m just bringing it back up again *~*

HOW many times do I have to show BLACK BUDS bro? SOME but not ALL, black strains are... or seems to be, SUPER potent with a psychedelic kick! Viet Black is one of them I think! Also, Mentioned in past about the cure possibly turning it black cuz again, it was not a purple plant. I never saw shake, just buds.
I don't understand what you are trying to say about black strains? Last year I grew some God 2.0 and the purple pheno plants turn absolutely black.HOW many times do I have to show BLACK BUDS bro? Well, you MUST want me to post more! So, HERE you go!
First one is Kali Hash Plant from India! Second and third... NOT sure! But looks intriguing! Blueish black!
One thing to look at is WHERE cannabis originated... where and when it imported to other parts of the world!
I'm also not sure what your reference to bam is? I'm going off memory from decades ago. I would have no clue where the buds I had originated from? Imported or grown in US?HOW many times do I have to show BLACK BUDS bro? SOME but not ALL, black strains are... or seems to be, SUPER potent with a psychedelic kick!
