The pineapple express in the back right side of the pic turned purple… only One that did that out of about 12 I have grown past 2 years…(allowed six Medical flowering plants per grow in Missouri, but 18 in total at three different stages)…

Hey those are beautiful! Love the gorilla. Is the potency and taste comparable to the photo gorilla?

I don’t know, I only smoked Photoperiod Gorilla once To be perfectly honest and don’t remember it that well, of course on the other hand maybe that says something of itself…?
My buddy that smoked the Auto gorilla last week that I have had in the freezer for one year, took two small small buds
(I will call him and see what he thinks, he got pretty lit up here off three or four hits).
I can take a small Bud & squeeze it into a chunk of Herb Hash ball it has so much resin ! Also when trimming the Buds my trim scissors kept getting clogged up, It was one of very few auto strains that did that.
Well my buddy will get back to me once he does his Gorilla test.

So, my friend did 4 hits Expert Gorilla around 2:30 2 1/2 hrs ago,
Says the high about like GSC auto, but a little more head high/euphoria…he’s still buzzed! Says he actually likes GSC better, he got a little bit paranoid spatial feeling with the gorilla… I think he’s trying to say the gorillas little bit more of a couch like weed…
I’m not smoking right now I’m back in the job market…. :(
(I think the really good photo strains are still overall most likely more potent…on average ?)

rule 1: pH around 6 give or take

rule 2: refer to rule 1
(get a pH test Kit & use it, I’ll say it again use IT)

rule 3: organics soil & nutrients, well somewhat my soil now is :
My soil mix % ratios :
Fox Farm Ocean Forest
32% 4-1-1 Kelp Manley
Black Gold Organic Potting Soil
32% .05-0-0
StLouis Composting Raised Bed Mix
18% .5-0-0 (this is basically a heavy river lome dirt with peat) any heavy garden soil would suffice.
Black Cow Cow Manure (commercial brand)
18% .5-.5-.5
Hoffman Super Chicken Manure Pellets
2-tsp per pot@ top 4-2-3 (Mix into top 1” 1x month)

((side note: I’m now trying to experiment with temps, soils, pH, of native strains
IE: BAM Blavk African Magic that this thread is about likes
Acidic soil, high heat, Sandy loam soil,
12 light schedule, high humidity, well easier said than done, but I’m trying))

Liquid Nutrient: that I use as well,
Fox Farm Chart (sort of)


rule 4: LST training …LST Training starting around day 20 on autos…prepare to work everyday !!!…spread your hand out around the plant base and say where are the openings ??? Then pull your main top to that area & pull the rest of the branches around the clock…! wire them down to your cloth grow pot…thin green cheap wire…
Make sure no leaves cover a potential flower tip…if they do pick em off
By day 30, 40% of leaves should be picked off, because of all the flowering bud branches…it’s work daily!
((and no the weed won’t be in shock or hurt growth, what growth Veg or potential Flowering sites, I’ll take flowering ! ))
I have 50-65 hrs in per grow…75 Days.


rule 5: I water every 3 days, when top 1/4” soil dry
(water slowly, then repeat, try to soak pot, with very little drain through)
pH around 6 , “DO NOT GUESS, TEST”

rule 6: If top plant leave tips “only” show edge browning or getting pale …raise lights
(I use Blurples ~55 true Watts per
Sq/ft. Usually around 18-20” above plants.)

rule7: Harvest/Curing, F*ck the jars…like seriously opening 15-20-30 jars 2x per day what a pain in the Arsse!!!
I hang dry about 9 days in cool basement, then cut bud branches off & place vertically (bottom down) in deep food cooler & test humidity overnight, depending on humidity I will add wet cloth to bottom of cooler until my humidity stays at 60/65%
for 4 weeks…( great thing about cooler is only one lid to open or crack whatever it takes to reach target curing humidity) then place in jars or bags for aging open occasionally for air once a week for next 2 months or so … I then vacuum pac and age in another cooler for several months then off to the Freezer…if any left ;)…after the oil and hash farm


Most of my herb for me anyway is best about 1 year latter…smooth & no chlorophyll…


Everybody has the right way, but my way is right for me… !


Oh rule 8, don’t listen to one thing I said because in years you will have your own rules ?

So it's been 8 full weeks at a 12/12 light schedule. These buds just keep stacking layer over layer so I'm really not sure how much longer they have?

The most sativa looking plant has the most landrace traits and the least desirable of the three as far as bud density, smell and overall yield. Not sure if I'd grow anymore of this pheno in future.

One plant has rounder and dense buds and the other is a combination of the two and looks and smells very close to what I remember b being like. So the other two are definite keepers on future.

This one and the last two pics are the one that is very close to bam in my memory and I swear I see some black sugar leaves starting but they don't show well in pics in lighting.

Sorry for the poor quality pics as I'm using my low quality cell phone camera. I'll try to get tric pics at the end. These three are holding things up and they will come down in two weeks regardless if they are finished. I can't keep growing 3 plants in a space designed for a hell of a lot more!
I'll do a full room of bam in the future.

They can take a lot of light. I have each under their own quantum board plus a 400 hps AND a 400 MH in the middle of the three. Kind of ridiculous but I'm testing to see how much abuse they can take.

Cool! Mh is down low blasting lower buds and hps up way high. It's not like all three are on top of each other.
