Is it good to put light on immediately after planting, or should the seed break the surface in all dark before bringing the light?

i put it under my t5's right after i plant in medium. the seedling will grow towards the light, helping it emerge quicker. just make sure ur light isnt too intense

Ok, I also use a T5.

your ok with putting light on your unpopped seeds. as Skuna said, make sure light is not intense.

I have a T5 with 6 bulbs on my vegging plants.
