After thrips my leaves dots become kinda black-ish.

I had trips and got rid of them (first photo), but soon these white, damaged by trips parts of the leaves got a black border(second and third photo). What could it be?

The leaf edges will go black as above
I’ve seen bud that when you pick it up it leaves a load of black mold specs in your hand aphids are troublesome buggers


After harvest you will need to wash your plants if you wish to smoke it

Hold up you said thrips not aphids doh

If your referring to the leaves in the pic.

The thrips sucked the nutes and the life of the leaf it won’t recover if it’s bad as in the pics above they will die & go yellow then crispy brown

It kinda looks like a Calcium deficiency

have you a pic of the whole plant rather than the damaged leafs as said they won’t recover however it might be a good idea to throw up a pic of the whole plant ( different angle than posted )

This is correct after so long if them sucking the nutrients in them spots them areas should start going brown to black color

I actually meant where they have been sucking it makes it look like a Cali mg Deficiency as in thats what a severe cali mg Deficiency looks like.

I wasn’t saying you had one

What I was trying to convey was that’s normal after a thrip attack.

It’s why I wanted to see the rest of the plant to see if you had other problems from them sucking the nutes out however if you haven’t been using cali mg then it’s a good idea to do so if your water needs it witch most tap water will.

They will need it soon especially during flowering anyway if your nutes don’t contain extra cali mg witch most don’t.
