Air conditioner filter replacement foam pads

I'm in flower now now I trying to figure a way of venting and keeping light out.i found these air conditioner filters now I'm wondering if anyone had tryed this .or any other ways too will help all so. Trying not to have these ducts hanging or s shaped etc.. any suggestions

Was thinking maybe cutting some of this and place it on the bottom vents. I got my tent in room not that big have a 3x3x6.5 with fucking elbowed etc.. gets in da way.

So you are in a tent, you are venting thru the bottom flaps, and now that you are in flower you are seeing light leaks because the room the tent is in is lighted? That's the info I need to help you - what are we trying to fix.

But yeah I dnt wanna use the tube so I was thinking taken off the vent cover and stick some of that filter over the vent and close the duct hole.ima give it a go they say won't mess with cfm but some lie u know I'll let u know how it goes and if keep light out also.
