air-layering 1st attempt.
I decided to try Air-Layering a branch of my mother. I am not using any special genetics as a mom..just bag seed so i figured nothing to loose. I decided to use a sterile needle container from a tattoo shop and split it down the middle. Next i filled both halves with dried crumbled up peat from a starter plug. Then i sprayed them with h2o and let them sit while i scraped some outer skin off with the razor blade..i made a nice 2 inch root zone area. Sinched it all together with some rooting powder sprinkled over each side of the needle bottle and some on the stem. made sure it was wet not soggy so im hoping for the best. also i let the one half of the lid off so i can just poke my finger in her everyday and see if shes moist or not... no dirty pun intended..lol
