So my grow is getting larger and I'm still not positive how many bubble buckets I'm gonna run. Right now I've just got a few basic pet store air pumps supplying oxygen to the water but I want to upgrade to one larger air pump and diverter valve. I'm wondering what size pump would be adequate for a 8-12 bucket system and also could I use a speed controller unit to control the output as needed until I need its full potential? I've read some reviews on some pumps and some seem to be pretty loud. I'm wanting something that will provide enough O2 for an expanding grow as well as something that'll operate quietly and last a long time. I don't wanna worry about leaving home and my pump fail while I'm away. What brand and size air pumps would you guys recommend for an expanding grow and can I use a speed controller on it until I need to use the pump to its full potential?
