Strange...
Just started drinking again after 5 1/2 years of not.
Didn't have a ton, but enough to have a hefty buzz, about 5-6 drinks worth over 3 hours.
Just smoked a strain that I've been growing for 9 months, Black Domina. Smoking it now after drinking, it tastes completely different than I've ever tasted it. Not sure what it is about alcohol and scent/taste receptors, but my sense of taste has completely changed.
I used to best describe this flavor as a Hashy, Purple, with an OG finish. Smoking it now while buzzed, it's just straight sweet grape. Interesting....
Going to go hit a huge bowl of Ultimate Blueberry, i'll post back w/results.
edit: just smoked some Fire OG and it was sweet as hell! It reminded of the way weed tasted way back in high school... It's usually a very sweet OG, but right now all that I got was sweet. This is a strain that I've smoked a lot of recently too. Alcohol brings out sweet-taste receptors I think.
