Alfalfa Meal Amendment

Hi all,

So I'm doing some transplanting today and I was thinking of amending a couple pots with alfalfa meal just to see what happens.

I'm using botanicare aeration mix (60/40 coco perlite w/ewc) and transplanting into 1 gal pots.

Maybe like 1tsp alfalfa meal per hole, applying it like granulated mycorrhizae?

Anyone ever done this? In running dtw w/salt nutes.

I work with alfalfa, not meal very often due to the expense. My concern would be that it starts decomposing in the pot, which can cause problems. But the amount you're talking about doesn't seem too much to me and meal may not cause the same issues using whole alfalfa can.
