a great tradesman can get the job done with any tool haha. im guessing its the many years of trimming packs on packs on packs that allow them to trim the way they do.. remember your first trim sesh?? haha i remember mine. nothing sucks more then having to trim the same bud 3 different times haha.

The L series macro will set you back about a grand, but is well worth it!

B & H is the best online store to buy from imo.

This is a good starter light kit and tent.....

im shooting with a kodak z981 hd 26x IS wide angle 14 mega pixels. schneider - KREUZNACH lens. it also shoots video. got it about 2 years ago for 300. i think it works pretty good and i know nothing about photograpy so i bet somebody with more knowledge could get much much more out of it.

Thanks for all the deets. I use a Canon S100 point n shoot. It's probably the best point n shoot on the market. There is an aftermarket macro lens that I'm going to try out. In my experience, macro is it's only weakness.
