So I was able to smoke this stuff a little more. Had a few friends over to try it also and got some general consensus of the smell and taste etc.

Smell is a light cat-piss now that its dry. (we all know the cat piss smell...well if you don't your missing out on good weed lol cat piss weed is always good it seems like.)

Taste was described as floral and potpourri. Super smooth and and kinda like a flower would smell...but weedy.

Buzz = :) HI I AM HAPPY TO SEE YOU! :) --Really, this is like an anti-depressant weed!! I LOVE IT! Perma-grin and everything is funny, everyone looking at each other in eyes laughing vs starring uncomfortably at the table like what do we talk about man? LOVE IT!:heart

Now if I can just grow the stuff right lol. I got another cool cat clone of this BE that I started to super-crop and then said to myself it's time to do this right....went and got tomato cages. And I am not putting anything but RO water in the soil until some signs of need! Not gonna burn this baby this round! :D

I'll get of some dry-bud pics taken this weekend, but was having these thoughts and wanted to get them down.

Thanks for the update. That's something new to me. Guess, the Bubba and OE came out with the cat piss. lolol Sounds like your enjoying her. Looking forward to hearing more on this one. Since, it wasn't my most favorite of the mixes. The Bubba always gives me a world of shit. Don't ask me way, but a pain for me.

Hey there! Yes still really enjoying the Bubba Express :smiley_joint:

It really has a great smell/taste. The smoke even smells kinda floral. Pretty nice.

I hear ya with the Bubba and issues, but I think I am figuring out on my last clone I am budding what it seems to like. Remember my first attempt at one of these plants I got a huge, potent male flower because the soil was too rich/over fert issue. Man that male flower got me 20-40 beans on all of my strains, that was potent pollen!! Kinda cool to have all of these beans just to play with one day though ;) And I have read sooo many people having Bubba Pre98-strains throwing a few male flowers early in bud cycle if the plant is a little stressed. But to contrast, these little 3 plants I had in the 2-liters never had any male flowers.

Here are a couple ok pics, but nothing really to write home about. My next to ready B.E. plant, (the three foot one), has *rock hard buds* on it, lots of them. So I will show some of these buds more than these next couple pics....& i'll borrow a camera too haha.

And here's the reboot, trying this again, I think I can do it right this time. Been reading a lot of TLO stuff and am learning most strains and the microbes don't need or want a bunch of nutrients dumped on them in rich soil....but some do lol.

Afternoon OpTikFiber,

I've got to say. The second run is doing AWESOME. You can see the plant is nice and healthy. Your learning quickly and it shows. I had the same issues with the mother. She was one fussy lady. Glad to see she's doing allot better for you.

The least amount of stress=better yield and happier plant. Till you chop her down and smoke her ass :cool0044:

Any ways, just wanted to thank you for sharing your grow with us and all the lovely pictures and info. Thanks a bunch and glad to see your enjoying your smoke.

Good Evening To All!

Hope everyone is doing well this week. It's been a rough one around here so far. But haven't killed anybody yet. lol :angel

Billygoat did I tell you my friends and I just really love Bubba Express. To think I still have almost a full pack of these seeds for many to one day really look though! :heart No really though, this is my new favorite, thanks again for making this strain.

Well I am giving this one a chop chop a lot sooner than those little ones that were always on the floor. Not sure if it was the more direct light, or real lack of nutrients left in the soil but it seems good to me. Plus I need to get some smoke drying out :) I'm sure a few can feel me there haaha.

Well have a look...

Looking good. I hope you upped your container size. That's the only way your going to increase your yield. Sounds like your very happy with you girls. Thanks for the info and posting the pictures. Glad you and your buddies are enjoying her. Looking forward to seeing more pictures. I'm curious as how this girl will grow outdoors. I might have to put some out next season and see what they do.

Thanks BG! I did increase my pot size recently actually. I got some Botanicare square pots that are about 2 gallons. Much better results from everything I am growing (of course). One day I will look back and laugh about growing in 2-liters :D Actually I am trying to upgrade my space too lol. I been doing all kinds of upgrades lately! At this point my state either comes around with a bill thats in our state's house this Nov or I am gonna upgrade the state I live in too haha. Take it easy, peace and pot.

Dry bud smells very much like cat-piss with a hint of floral. Interestingly the smoke has has a distinct floral smell that you can seriously pick out of a crowd.

buds look great man. seems like a good combo and a good direction to go in with the bubba. i wonder how a bx would do? or would bubba take it over? i hear its very dominate in crosses. you grew this plant very well. what are you yeilding on 1 plant with an 11 day veg?

you sure did a great job. Glad to see you got some nice smoke. I'm not to happy about the odor, but I guess there's nothing i can do about that. Not a fan of the piss pheno, but it pop's up in other strains. Thanks for sharing the info and lovely pictures. Great job and thanks again.

Thanks for your interest Kid Twist, means a lot coming from someone like you; I have looked at a lot of your journals. Your buds are always an inspiration! IDK about the yields really yet. I haven't really weighed too much to be honest. Plus I really haven't grown this plant as healthy as it could be, so my estimation is kinda unfair....but I will say this particular phone type is just average on yield, nothing to write home about but not disappointing at all.

Ahhh, your being too hard on it ;) Now I can imagine someone disliking the cat-piss, especially you with all of your OE smells/tastes I read about. Seems like you can be picky and shot just breed it out if it is too common. (Not common to me, it's been about 10 years since I had good cat-piss, it also was a sativa btw.) But the smell of the smoke is actually really cool (to me!!). I have smoked a lot of buds and am defiantly considered a connoisseur, never have I been able to tell what was just puffed in a room by the smell of the smoke. In-fact, no matter what I've been smoking with my uncle ever time I light up some Bubba Express he says, "Oh, now that smells good." I chuckle and remind him again of the name, LOL! Really it's the bomb my bud brother!

Take it easy guys, oh and thanks again for the praise. In a hobby that you can't show your proud skills to most people close to you in life, a little praise means a lot when you get it :) PEACE!

Ok, instead of editing my last post heres a lil update. My bust on the 11day veg plant, heres a couple real quick photos.

Getting use to RO water and putting in extra cal mag. And then yesterday I had my first grow room f-up in a long time, accidentally set the timer to manual and the damn light was on "overnight" without the fans going, walk into 110degrees and dry pots...lucky nothing is hurt too-too-bad, just pride again and some crusty leaves, lol.:blush

Anyways, same diagnosis, just an average yield, but with this little multi-stemmed plant there are going to be a lot of head buds, yeah.

Looking good there. Nice to see you've upgraded to larger container's. I know your plants are happier. Wait, till you get a clean run. Your going to be even happier. Plants are funny and yes. You can bounce them back when they run into trouble, but they never really produce like a plant with no major stress.

Your girls still look wonderful, but wait till you get them dialed in. Your going to have some really nice bud sights. The weight will really come on then. Thanks for sharing the info and pictures. Really great job there. Have a wonderful weekend and take care.

Just wanted to do a lil bud-porn update, thats all! :joint:

Here is the last batch of Bubba Express, this time grown mostly with organic compost teas as fertilizer. The colors as you will see were really fun with some cool purple tints.

Hope I didn't over do it with the photos, but hey it's better than buying a magazine with like only one pic of a strain, more is better :}

84days, chopped 3days after these photos, then last shots are cured for a few weeks.
