Well of course the composition of your soil is important. That's not what I'm saying. I am saying that if you have a quality living soil, all you need is water. The soil will have everything else you need. We grow some really wonderful bud and we never add anything but water.Respectfully, The soil will feed the microbes, microbes feed the plant, and organic or veganic matter we place in the soil makes a big difference really I’m trying to switch off of bone meal want to keep more like oats malt barley alfalfa spirulina, coconut aloe pumpkin seed blended and make some great teas
Of course he didn’t invent them he brought them to the forefront and of course these techniques been around before moses but they hav been following old methods if growing they been tilling the soil and polluting them with pesticides and destroying the integrity of the soil and the billions of organism that granted us cropsSorry, but they did not invent it despite the claims of their government. Those same techniques have been around for thousands of years.
I will say they compiled them and possibly modernized them, but not invented.
Yeah that’s basically the gist of organic growInf just add water watch the magicWell of course the composition of your soil is important. That's not what I'm saying. Yup. I don't know how true it is, but a friend of mine from Korea was saying that if they don't switch to organics, they will be importing all their food because they have polluted the land so much. I see KNF as an effort by them to restore the land.Of course he didn’t invent them he brought them to the forefront and of course these techniques been around before moses but they hav been following old methods if growing they been tilling the soil and polluting them with pesticides and destroying the integrity of the soil and the billions of organism that granted us crops
That is a lot of testing. Makes sense if you are a Farmer growing different food crops.
For just growing Marijane, that's all not necessary with today's organic grows. Use good living soil and the correct enzymes and microbes and you very rarely have to add anything except water.
I’ve had a lot of success with my home made LAB. It’s about 6 months old now so about time for a new batch. I didn’t stabilize, just fridge. I use every few weeks at lights out diluted in water, and spray the remaining bottle away on the fruit tree outside and some flowers. They LOVE it compared to not using it until this year.Hello everyone,
I want to start this thread to gather resources on all things organic growing. I was always a fan but due to laws etc. it's very difficult as a guerilla grower.
Thank god things changed and I finally made the time now to start a project very close to my heart, I am creating an all organic grow project.
I created my own supersoil based on the terra preta technique (if anyone is interested in my recipe, feel free to ask).
Got the first seedlings germinated and they are in week 2 now.
I once used to make compost teas to fertilize, but this time I want to check out the KNF (Korean natural farming) technique. But not exclusively.
I started studying the subject a little bit right now, but I'm a little stuck on my recipe formulation.
Is there anyone here that wants to exchange some of their info? (On Veg, transitional, flower periods as well as pestizides and other additives.)
I'm also looking to boost the fertilizing scheme with fermented algae/fish liquid, molasses, water soluble calcium, aloe vera and whatever else I can find to add in to the custom recipe.
One question I already have is I want to add silica somehow. Anybody got a tip for me here how to add this organically?
Haven't seen it mentioned here so far but my most reliable resource so far is the amazing team of natural farming hawaii.
Check this post out where they explain a little bit about the fertilizing scheme:

Looking forward to discussing this! Have an amazing day everyone

I’ve gathered all the ingredients for OHN, and have a pile of my own garden garlic to use. I haven’t started it, but plan to in the next few weeks. Gotta make sure no vacations are coming up that will interrupt it for the next 90 days.
I plan to build up the whole KNF system and use it on my yard/property and grows. It will take me time. Wood prices are insane to build cedar boxes right now! I don’t have one for IMO yet. Starting at the beginning here, I love the concept.
Good luck and I’ll watch this space.
Of course. I don’t live in Korea. The idea is to take indigenous microbes from my own local area that thrive, and increase their concentration by transporting them to my land. Once on my land, they should still thrive because they are not foreigners to the area like any store bought substance would be.The point of KNF is to use the environment around you. Just cut down some trees and rough cut timbers with a chainsaw. Look for dead rotting stumps to collect humus and folic acids. Unless you are living in Korea thier methods are guidelines. Isolate the principals in the system and apply them to your local environment. You're not going to recreate a little Korea in your backyard, it's already its own ecosystem.

Doesn’t matter what country or region you live in, the idea is appealing.
