There’s that one point in my recovery process that the rosin just hangs by a thread. And I make more of a mess getting free. If you’ve pressed you know exactly what I mean

What vaporizer is that? And does it work with pretty much any battery? 510 threads?

I am looking for a better solution for myself. Was using CCell carts. But dont work without thinning my concentrate. SACRILEGE!

Resorted to a glass banger and torch. Works great. But not very handy by any means.

510 threads correct. This is just some cheap but dang is it handy. Cut the “mess” by 75%

Thats where im at. I get the cheep ones also! I’ve dropped two of them so far

one of these days im going to get a designated dab rig! the two footer is a bit much!

That last press of lockbox’s made me curious so I did 3 different temps with 3 different outcomes. Figure a person needs to know the end use and then pick temps.
I’ll sum up this test IMHO: lower temps pretty damn rosin but yield sucked. Higher temperature higher yield but it ain’t as purdy that’s for sure.
Mine is edible bound. The 2nd press of the 180 puck was done at 210

I-47 pressed at 190° in a 120u bag.
The flower is nice and smokes great but this is the goopiest/ most saucy rosin I’ve ever pressed.
Collection was a nightmare but the end result looks like live resin

Looks great! Is that 190* your go to temp? I’ve been running everything under 220* trying to “decarb” a little of it while pressing. I know for sure im sacrificing flavor by doing that though.

Yeah, for the most part I’d say it is!
I go back and forth between 180 and 190, 180 gives me the best color and flavor but I’ve found 190 to be my sweet spot in terms of yield, color, and taste.

Are you making edibles with yours with the decarbing and all?

I would go with 4 to 6 tonnes max 10

Doing small presses, 7-9 grams at a time, my 4
Ton does pretty good for me.
Pressing anything larger, id probably go for the 6 to 12 ton but I found 4 works for my current needs.

10 grams per press, 5000 psi @210 for 3 minutes. 4 ton 3x5 plates temp and pressure gauge and a person has everything they need, besides some good
