Can somebody explain topping clones with alternating nodes? The more I read, the more I see multiple truths that don't seem to be able to coexist...

This is accurate, correct?

It doesn't matter. Just cut wherever you want. It's not rocket science.

Seems to be a popular opinion in some circles that topping is a zero sum gain with clones... or even a loss given recovery time and catchup time for the "lesser" node.

These peeps push to supercropping only with clones. The only decent resource I've found is this...

Which is what I thought made sense --- until I saw a half dozen people claim topping clones can actually be counterproductive.

Well, I have 2 tops... I've pinned down the top node with lst keeping the lower, smaller node higher and in the middle of the plant hoping to encourage it to catch up in size with better symmetry being the goal.

Considering a fim over a top next week if growth maintains current rate.

Thoughts?
