??alternative side lighting??

I have always read about how important side lighting is. Ive never done any vert grow. Ive always done over head lighting. So i dont know anything about side lighting.

SO I have this idea to put 4' long Red Spectrum Flouros/T5 on the walls of my 5x5 room. Id put 1 or 2 of them on each wall.

any other ways to do this?

It wont hurt I would shoot for at least a 400 w vert...JACK

I use 27 watt CFL bulbs (equivalent to 100 watts), daylight spectrum, at the ends of my grow trays as supplemental lighting.

You can use Warm white if you want a more red spectrum.
