Hey all.

Hoping for some genuine opinions, rather than the pointless sarcasm and bros you get most places.

How is this girl looking for harvest? She's 12 weeks in, it's a northern lights auto.

Let me k ow if you need better pics and I'll try and get some.

Cheers

When a photo grower hears an auto grower say they're 12 weeks... oof. You're getting there but those white hairs say it's still got some more good bud to make you. When those white hairs stop coming in or start to fade, then you can start checking ripeness under magnification. Just like fruit trees and other flower plants, the whole thing doesn't magically and perfectly ripen up and down the plant. The exact moment is a personal decision. I like my Sativas a little late and my Indicas a little early, and that's just my personal preference.

Thanks Ninja

When you say hairs, you mean the pistils right?

I'm looking for a nice sleepy/couch lock high so longer the better I suppose.

One more picture of the whole plant would help, because for me that's the missing puzzle piece. From what you posted I would say 100% more time. Maybe 2-4 weeks. I see zero amber trichs and lots of white pistils.

I usually harvest my plants when they look like they're gonna die lol 😆 If you're looking for that couch lock high, it's a good technique to learn.

Agree it’s got a while

You just seem to know by looking at them when you get up wether or not to even bother busting out the scope after a while

There’s indications like no more pistal growth etc

Unless the white pistols are on fox tails! Then they will never stop!😁🐒 Well, they will stop eventually! At least it will seem like they won’t! But it is an annual!
