OK so I was really hoping that this girl I wouldn’t have to make a post like this LMAO but I still feel the need to because I don’t have faith in these pictures. Can you guys tell about these pictures if she’s ready to harvest? auto at 11 weeks. these photos were taken using the magnifier glass on the iPhone, some of which were taken through a magnifying glass with the Magnifier app. Also, I was wondering, is it typical for the buds on the bottom of a plant to develop and mature a hell of a lot slower than the bugs on the top of the plant? I’ll share some pics of the buds on the bottom and you’ll see how immature they are compared to the ones on the top.

Definitely a few weeks to go on that one she's looking lovely

thank you so much were you able to determine that by looking at the trichomes from these pics or by something else like pistols? also, is it normal for the bottom buds to be so under developed how many are even at 11 weeks like they are soo tiny and all the pistols are white. Do you think if i cut off the top when those buds r ready that the bottom will keep growing and maturing? appreciate the help

When your trichomes turn amber.
Some like to harvest with 10% amber some prefer 50% amber or some where in between.
The more amber the more couch lock.
The less amber the more racy it is.

The longer you wait the more weight it will have.

Bottom nugs get less light so the longer it takes for them to ripen.
One reason some growers defoliate.

thank you!, is it normal for the leaves to be yellowing on an auto at 11 weeks or is it more likely a deficiency or water issue
I’ve never grown an auto flowering plant. I don’t think it’s considered “normal” for a leaf to turn yellow at any point during an indoor grow. Or if one is feeding correctly (I don’t feed correctly lol) it’s hard to say why it would be turning yellow without more info.

thank youu and were you able to tell the trifles from the pictures I posted? Because I was struggling to tell I wasn’t sure if you would even be able to tell from those photos or not. I used the Magnifier app on the iPhone.

Does defoliating involve cutting off the top buds or cutting off the whole top of the plant?

Defoliating is removing the leaves from the plant. So light reaches the middle and lower buds.
But you are growing an auto so I wouldn't defoliate your plant.
I don't grow autos so I can't give good advice about that aspect of your grow.

Not really by your trichomes alone.
The buds don't look "ripe", the calyxes aren't really swollen yet, the pistels are mostly white.
All these together tell me it's not ready.
thsnks!!! can I continue to tell by that way without viewing the Tricom since I’m very bad at viewing a Tricomes

I use those to tell me when the plant is close to being ready.
Nothing beats inspecting the trichomes. But use your phone to take as close up a Pic as you can get while still being focused, then use that Pic, zoom in as close as you can while maybe a little out of focus you can still see the trichomes. You will see them much better and with a little practice you will get it.

Your plant’s not close to ready. You’ll be so disappointed if harvest soon. Weeks still. Those pistils look almost all white still. I wouldn’t think about trichs until pistils are close to 100% brown and starting to recede into the calyxes.

Way too many white pistols, you have some time to go

Most strains will have colored (red/orange) pistols curling in (80-90%) as you enter the harvest window, After that, you’ll want to keep an eye on the trichomes with a loupe or microscope,
