Amateur growing needing advice on dying leaves

I'm back again with yellowing leaves and or deficiencies....I get mixed messages when I'm looking online..nitrogen deficiency? Maybe...also looks like nutrient burn from burnt tips can it be both?...also maybe potassium deficiency...idk how to tell the proper problem yet...still pretty new...looking for advice... ew to this forum as well ...sorry , I know there are the same threads.

Some of the yellowing leaves look like they could use some nitrogen. However, it's common growing practice to decrease the nitrogen after stretching is done. Flowering nutrients usually decrease the nitrogen and increase the phosphorous and potassium.

Burnt leaflet tips can also occur when the VPD is high. What are your temperature and humidity (or VPD)?

I didn't see potassium deficiency. Are you using flowering nutrients?

It's normal for lower leaves to turn yellow and die during flowering. The plant is moving nutrients from them to the flowers. It won't be growing any new leaves at this point. It will be putting all its effort into reproduction.

It's about 70 degrees in the tent...only about 50% humidity...I have been using various nutes on various plants...this one is fed with normal plant stuff..15-8-13...time release junk(mainly testing various nutes) I have more cannabis oriented stuff coming. Last few feedings I've also added a generic 10-10-10plant food...cause I'm paranoid there are deficiencies

My guess is the time release isn't time releasing fast enough. Most time release ferts count on water to help in the release process. They don't look too bad but if it was me I would give them a 1/2 dose of the liquid fertilizer of your choice that is already chelated for uptake that is high in N like most of your grow blends. Most salt based liquid ferts are chelated.

70° is too low a temp IMO. I'll run my temps at an average of 80° until the last few weeks before harvest. Humidity is good.

Look into Daily Light Integral to determine how much light you want to give your plants at whatever stage of growth they are in.

Here's a nutrient chart outlining the general needs of the plant at different stages of growth. The only thing different that I would do is to start cal/mag supplementation sooner.

Hmm thanks for the advice...I guess I just get confused on trying to diagnose things...these pics online all kinda look similar with different problems

It's been a couple weeks...and I have gotten some better nutes...I guess it won't recover what was lost..but it looks like it hasn't gotten any worse, and the buds are looking better everyday.

Well done yes those yellow leaf won't recover but you got it under control i hope till harvest.

Sounds like you're randomly applying nutrients and it looks like 5 gallon buckets.

If growing organic, 7 gallon minimum pot size and follow one nutrient line's recommendations at a time.

Also you should really find a nutrient set that you can feed to all of them with out catering to a pack of bitchy plants whos cycles haven’t aligned.
I run 20-30 different strains per run,
I use @greenleaf nutrients
All of my plants get mega crop soluble food for veg. That’s it. One single fert.
In flower I run the mega crop In tandem with sweet candy. Then if the plants are super froggy, I will add Soluble kelp extract
They’re by far one of the cheapest suppliers of some of the most versatile and capable nutrients that I’ve ever used. You may want to check them out.

If you notice on your leaves, it’s the most exposed leaves with the highest amount of leaf surface showing that are fading. And it’s also looking like the plant is going to likely be starting to get that mid to late flower fade.

Haha...well it isn't random, but yes probably doin too much...just trying to find easy to find stuff...figured a greenhouse would have better stuff than they do...
