The cabana special is somewhat of a mystery. I got the cut in 07' I believe and I had bought 3 teen plants off my buddies uncle. I had one teen in a open pollination tent with a grand daddy purple and island diesel male I was working with at the time. I heard the original cut came from a cali connection free seed pack. I have reached out to swerve a few times with no response so I can't get any more information than that. What I can tell you is the name fits the overall plant. Huge yields of fruity/musty/dirt buds.... it stacks like a mother fucker and is dense as they come... definitely a tropical type weed. If you are ever in the "neighborhood" give me a shout. thank you thank you. Try to manipulate them as best as I could, it's been a few years since I've grown so just shaking off the ring rust. Man! If I could have a system like that in a greenhouse I'd have to get 50 gallon buckets instead of the 13's! The roots have overtaken the buckets... I'll get some root porn tomorrow when I flush the system. Thanks for checking in!

Snapped a couple pics of some stalk and roots. Can't lift the plant due to the cages but the root zone is off the chain. See ya next time farmers.

Getting a little full in here fellas. First time I have grown in a few years.. I have already found some mistakes I made early on. That is the beauty about life ya know? Learn to recognize your mistakes. Will still get a decent harvest out of this room no doubt, but definitely will do better next time around. Hydro is not my style, I will always be a organic grower at heart but I'd have to say it sure does yield well.

We were givin a whole cycle of current cultures nutrient line to test out on this first room and in my opinion not worth it. We followed the instructions and found that it takes wayyyyyyy more than it calls for to get the ppms where it should be according to the chart. 4 weeks to go on this room until chop, just wait until you see room #2 running the veg/bloom line....night and day difference. Keep it irie boys. Until next time.

So will you be switching back to soil, or will you be waiting a bit? Soil and (mostly) organic here, I personally believe soil produces better tasting/smelling nugs. Had a DWC spout for a bit to test my foot in the water, produced amazing bag appeal, but all other areas were lacking IMO and others.

I'll be doing some heavy breeding once the lisences become available.. just don't have the plant count now... all of that will be done organically but as far as the meds being produced now will be all salt life. I agree I am a organic dirt guy but would have been silly to turn down this offer.

Room #2 a week or so into bloom. Cabana special, gorilla glue #4, blue dream in the back.

Cosmic bubba (this is my favorite plant, hands down. The pre 98 shows up, the lavender, the super silver haze, amnesia core cut all shine thru on this beauty. It gets so resinous that the remaining fan leaders start curling up like tacos... just grade a smoke)

I think you might have slightly more than 10 trimmed dried and cured there. Those are nice bushes. I cant get over how outdoor they look to me. Awesome. You got a dialed set up.

looking top shelf. thank you for mention the taco from THC. iv seen that taco with a potassium deficiency, and also heat. but did not know it could happen under good genetics..err i mean frosty fucking plants. laughs.

The old saying.."cleanliness is godliness" never applied more than this setup here. Super clean. Super plants. Very rarely will growers who pay attention to details and run super clean rooms like this get pests or diseases. Nice man...very nice.
