Lookin good is that DE on your soil
Yep! Round 3 of it in fact. I really wanted to hold off on watering but the girls needed a drink on day 4.

I will never bring random soil in my grow again.

Gotta make sure I don't forget 🤦‍♂️

I also have a bowl of cider vinegar, dish soap and water in the corner to get the flyers.

Maybe grab some sticky traps also but that de works great

I had to go nuclear on these nats...

Cleared off the old DE and first inch of loose soil. I followed up with a THICC blanket of DE.

I put the pots on risers (some nats where hiding under the pots) and will be feeding from the bottom for 2 weeks.

The big girl liked her trim. Skinny Mini is catching up and will get the bottom leafs cut soon, still no topping for her though.

Hopefully that will take care of the nats are you keeping the soil to wet is that why your getting nats?

before your transplant I thought you mention using fox farm soil. I may be wrong. then a few posts ago you mention random soil.
what did you do if you don't mind

I heard sand works, a nice thick layer, like you have with DE, I imagine fine sand might be cheaper(worked for me a few years back).
I'm not sure gnats have an exoskeleton, and that is what DE kills (that I know of)

plants are looking good!
I had some G13's from ILGM scheduled for delivery today, but it somehow is hung up in Indiana

No, I drug them in with some cilantro i was trying to start and I didn't address the issue right away. So they made a home in my cannabis pots when I watered them.

I'm fairly certain I broke their life cycle this time.

Update!

Both of them are starting to flower already, it's been a little over 30 days.

I've started some LST.

Thanks!

You're going to have quite the yeild.

I've always had a hunch that Ohio might be the true stoner state. Sure seems like it!

It’s all good! Seems like you’re getting the upper hand!

A laughed because i think this same way! I’ll scold myself! And then still do some random ass thing i told myself I wouldn’t do! 🤣✌️

Generally speaking you don’t want to prune or defoliate autos too much. And if so earlier the better. But it’s all a matter of preference and strain when it comes down to it. Some people will say to never top an auto and others would never not top an auto lol personally I’ll defoliate an auto if it seems like it needs it. A lot of the times though I’ll simply wait for the leaves the yellow up and either fall off or kinda give them a little poke and they drop off. Just don’t overdo it is what it comes down to much like most other training methods. Looking good though! ✌️

I've mainly been trimming the largest fan leaves.

Thanks!

I think they're dead! The DE looks like a fungal nat no man's land.
