Not me i would never do that to any plant the less you disturb the roots and dirt around them .the less chance ,any plant will go into shock

Well you can see what I did. I was amazed at how quickly they picked them self's up.

I'm sure it stunted them some.

I have 2 more of the same seeds and plan on doing a lot of things differently. I will document it as well.

lol pain in my ass sometimes but I love it I only been growing for a year so I’m constantly taking in information here and at YouTube university patience is key
Only been growing for a year?! Definitely could have fooled me man. 😁

Happy Sunday!

Day 4 after flush, I honestly could have watered this morning but I will tomorrow morning.

Their condition hasn't changed much so the plan is to water one more time before feeding again.

I will be contacting Advance Nutrients regarding ratios of their 3 part feed solution and changing them to suit what stage of growth I'm in.

They also recieved another hair cut and I got rid of small bud sites

Week 7
I finally used the Photone app to check my PPFD and I was at a sad 300 micromole

I cranked the light to around 65ish percent to achieve 500 micromole.

They stretched a good inch over night and the buds fattened up.

Check it out!

My latest addition to the setup.

A Vivosun 21x20x14 seedling tent with a Amazon special 25 watt 6500k led shop light.

This light can put out some power, it can bring the tent up to 79 degrees. I'll post par readings after Easter dinner.

I'm currently getting the starters for my outdoor garden going. A little late I know but at least I won't have to worry about frost.

I am now watering/feeding every 2 liters every 2 days for the bush and 2 liters about every 3 days with the other. The method I used for checking them is the weight.

I didn't realize how hungry these plants get and have been starving the bush for most of the time. It's beginning to turn darker green again and brown spots have stopped spreading I think.

My other plant has started to develop browning starting at the center on a couple leaves.

I am definitely learning a lot.

Just remember not to underwater. Remember that it’s not about how much you give it, it’s how long it has between to dry out. Make sure the entire medium is getting wet when you do water as well. I use 5 gal fabric pots and I usually do at least 2 gallons of water per watering or until the entire medium is wet. If you don’t water enough and the soil develops dry patches that can affect root growth and a slew of problems that go with it. Looking good though keep at it!

Thank you!

When I first started I wasn't watering to runoff because I thought I was clever... boy was I wrong!

Gotta get em wet!

Is it possible my girls have Septoria?
Possible? Yes. As it’s possible for plants to succumb to just about anything given the right conditions. Likely? No. The things you’re seeing are more than likely related to either improper watering(more than likely underwatering from the info gathered) or from natural processes that kill off older leaves later on in the growth process. As long as new growth appears fine you should be alright. They may have a lot of issues at times but these plants overall are pretty hardy. I’ve snapped a few branches(accidentally and on purpose) and had some deficiencies this grow but like any other grow, you see a problem? You adjust conditions. Still see the problem? Try again lol Trial and error really is your best friend when it comes to learning. Just do the bulk of your learning in veg so she doesn’t throw balls at you in flower haha
IMG 0214

As you can see they definitely suffered a little(deficiency/aggressive training)
IMG 0393

But sometimes a little stress is good haha as I said just sort out the issues before flower and don’t stress them out too bad and you should be fine ✌️👌

Thank you so much for the reply!

I thought that I could have drug in the fungus from my compost pile. If it was a fungus I'm not sure what the growth rate of it would be but I'd suspect pretty rapid. Also my environment has been conducive of things like that at times when the house gets a little warmer.

I am seeing some spots on newish growth, please see attached picture for reference.

This is older growth I left alone that has gotten a little worse.

I also had this crop up on the other plant. It seems to be farther along in flower though.

She's starting to get fat though!

The spots I’m seeing towards the top appears to be on the fan leaves and not the sugar leaves themselves. In flower the older leaves naturally die off after serving their purpose. The color change associated with certain strains leaves is those sugar leaves. The fan leaves can change colors slightly but more often than not they’ll all start dying off by the end of flower. Those fan leaves are older than the sugar leaves hence why they die off/change quicker if that makes sense. She looks like she’s progressing along though. Just gotta keep at it. Make sure they’re getting proper watering/feedings and dial in the light distance and essentially leave them be in flower. I just flipped mine a few days ago. I’ll do one more defoliation on the bottom third or so of my plants in a few weeks then other than feeding and light adjustments I’ll let them do their thing and finish up. The wait is on haha

I picking up what you're putting down.

My aloe and Yukka act similarly with the dropping of leaves.

I suspected the smaller of the two was starting to die off naturally. I hope the buds fatten up.

The bushy one still worries me. I'm sure what ever is going on with it is related to my watering, or lack there of.

I wish your grow frost nugs and gassy terps!

Well I couldn't help myself. I pruned off all the affected leaves. I'm convinced it is septoria on my bushy plant.

The other with only discoloration was left alone, I believe she is reaching the end.

We shall see what I come home to after work today.

Idk man just doesn’t look like it to me. Usually if so the spots are more consistently round and there’s usually quite a few more of them then what’s in the pics you posted. Remember to take it easy during flower and not defoliate too much/too often. I usually do prior to flip and once more 3 weeks after and leave the older dying ones be. They naturally know when to drop off. I get you’re being preventative but take it from me, these plants will make you paranoid haha

Good Morning Ya'll!

New to the grow scene but have been partaking for quite sometime now.

This not my first rodeo growing crops of some sort. I have also done my fair share of hype obsessing and research on the subject of growing cannabis.

This is my setup as follows:
- Spiderfarmer 2.3x2.3x63
- Mars Hydro TS1000 (driver mounted outside)
- MelonFarm 4" Carbon Filter Fan Combo (Exhausting out top)
- 120mm variable fan (Intaking through 3" Cable port w/ 3" shroud adpater)
- Lasko 6" (Circulation fan)
- Thermal Pro Thermometer/ Hygrometer with Bluetooth
- ZooMed Reptile Timer

I'm going to be controlling all of this manually, no smart controller.

My girls are currently on day 10 from start of germination (Gorilla Cookies Fast Buds).

The one on the right lost a cotyledon leaf on its way out of the soil. That definitely stunted it compared to the other. Also contributed to the extra leggyness.

I plan transplanting into a Happy Frog this weekend, still using the same container.

My long term container and media will be Vivoson 3 gallon fabric pots w/ eyelets and Happy Frog w/pearlite. I will be supplimentiing with Advanced Nutrients 3 part and CalMag as the grow progesses.

Any suggestions or tips?

See attached photos.

Thanks!

I use one for my extractor fan, the rest u do manually or have on an app. I underutilized my controller but I wouldn't get rid of it just for the extractor control
