I used to use it, supposed to be full of nutrients your plant can use, the unsulfured molasses. But lately (or not so recent) it's caused some problems, or, to be fair, with its use I noticed (what appeared to be) some nutrient lock happening. Kinda have gone away from it these last few grows, just to see what jives with the plants. If your gonna use it I'd stop it's use after the 6th week of flower. The "word" is it leaves behind unwanted stuff that purist don't want around towards the end of flower.Any advice using black strap molasses?

Exactly this, the only reason to use molasses in an organic soil grow. Help break down the dry amendments. A popular reaction to this is buds seem to come out stickier than usual.Unless your growing at a large scale I don't see why you would use it instead of "Bud Candy".
I Will use molasses as a raw sugar to feed to my compost piles to speed up microbial life and decomposers.
