Got a micro grow that I will start flowering this weekend. I'm growing in rock wool cubes using nutes. Do I need to do anything special before I change light hours and change to flowering nutes? Possibly flush it once?

I wouldn't flush, but change your nutrient res to a bloom formula. Add some hygrozyme if you have it and don't forget to keep water levels high during flower. Plants drink a lot more as they put on weight. Also, stop hygrozyme the last 2 weeks of flower because if you do not they will continue to advance instead of letting the trichs turn milky and amber.

Don't let any light through on your flowering dark cycle. Other than that, post questions if you have them as you get into the next 6-8 week phase.. Good luck!

I would run either veg. nutes or a mix of veg/bloom nutes for the first 2 weeks of flower, because it's going to take that long for the plants to realize the environment changed and to start shifting over to blooming. Other than that, all of singing crow's recommendations are on point!

Just bought some hygrozyme from amazon. I'll start using that when it arrives. Now is this something I would use during veg as well or just during flowering? I'm learning as I go here,,,

What he is telling you ,is not to drop off the Veg nutes You back them off slowly for the two week transitions and after that, yeah the flush seems to be the right thing to do .

Ok, I was just going to put bloom nutes in the water right away but I'll follow your advise and slowly transition from the veg nutes to the bloom mix over the next 2 weeks. Then I'll flush again,, then I'll go full bloom nutes. Growing is friggin awesome!!
