Any Suggestions For Replacing 400watt Mh

Looking to replace an old,old 400watt magnetic ballast in my veg chamber. Its 3x5.
I think fluorescence is going to be difficult because they need to be close to the canopy.
I wouldnt mind leds, but its just a veg chamber and not looking to spend more than $300.

Mh is hard to beat fer veg , brother. Maybe just get a nicer ballast?
