That said, I grow an ABC variety called "drunken bastard" precisely because it doesn't look like cannabis so for the first half of your grow someone who comes across it might think it was parsley.

Later it becomes more obvious. Mine has almost zero small past the plant so it doesn't carry into the environment. People like the smoke.

Thanks for putting me onto that. It's got an interesting back story. I notice it's got a thc content of 12% though. I'm guessing it has a much larger amount of ruderalis in the genes. How did you find the smoke?

There are better bred ones so you have to look around. I got the drunken bastards (photo) from 7eastgenetics.com 3+ years ago. They claim 24% but I take all claims with a serious grain of salt.

That said, everyone likes the smoke, a heady sativa high that they say they can "get shit done" while smoking it.

Okay thanks I'll definitely check them out for next year. I do tend to prefer sativa tbh other than my bed time spliff so it might work nicely. I'm not too fussy though.
Your buds look so good btw, props to you. Out of interest what sort of climate are you dealing with? I don't see my girls reaching that size but hopefully I'll get some nice dense buds with lots of crystals and trichomes.

Also, for what it's worth if you find you're having to water often with fabric pots outside it doesn't hurt to put little plastic trays under the pots to hold an inch of water. Fabric dries fast when plants are drinking and when i used them I had to do this or they could wilt if I didn't water every day. I switched back to plastic pots because they held the water longer.

Oh that photo is deceiving then, it looks bigger In the photo. That's what she said. (couldn't help myself) Hopefully as my plants develop they will branch out nicely like yours did just on a larger scale.
The fast buds advertises 50-350g a plant outdoors but I'm guessing 350g would be the world record in a laboratory style polytunnel in a hot country. Even if I was to get 50g that'd be a great success but I'm targeting an ounce per plant. They're in 5 gallon pots.
Thanks for the tip, the only issue is I've cut the bottoms so if the Taproot has gone through to the ground then it won't be possible. In my environment the main concern was aeration so it's an advantage being fabric however if this dry weather continues I may find myself having to visit more frequently to water which isn't ideal but I'll see how I get on over the next week or so.
I used about 6 L on the 9 plants but I'll probably increase it on the next occasion, I just know over watering is the most common mistake for beginners so I'm being cautious.

My first guerilla grow was in 1974, in my bedroom closet under flourescent grow light. My parents never knew. I had been growing cacti and houseplants for years.... That first grow was bagseed from Columbian Gold and Thai Stick. Took forever to bloom and ripen. Got some small buds but it was pure fire!


Next guerilla grow was outdoors in NJ, mid 1990s. Bagseed again. I was living on the side of a mountain. The SE facing slope was a steep and rugged talus slide. Nobody in their right mind ever went in there. I pulled rocks out and placed a five gallon bucket in there. Filled with topsoil. Grew one plant. It was a female, about four feet tall and bushy. Harvested a 1/2 pound of bud. Great smoke.

During my earlier years, I was focused on marriage, career, etc... so was not smoking cannabis much.

In July, 2021, I was diagnosed with brain cancer. Did four rounds of inpatient chemo and ASCT. In remission since Jan, 2022. Between rounds of chemo, a friend visited and gave me two joints, saying "maybe this will help" Indeed it did. Another friend (from a legal state) came to visit. He brought a gallon jar filled with about 6 ounces of bud. His neighbor had a licence to grow medical marijuana. Cannabis was a godsend at quelling the horrid side effects of chemo.

Started growing again following my battle with cancer. Have LED setup indoors and also grow outdoors.

My advice for guerilla grow? I'd say keep your mouth shut. Don't tell friends. You don't want someone bragging about the 'killer grow' you have going. Find a secure place indoors and use LED light. If growing outside, try to select strains that will do well in your climate. Outdoors you'll need a spot that gets full sun and is surrounded by tall vegetation that will hide the plants. Don't plant in any spot that might have hikers, bird watchers, hunters, theives or LEO that could stumble upon your grow.

Hi guys, I went down there today. We've been getting some really sunny and dry weather this week so they were definitely due a water.
This time I gave the 2L per plant just to make sure the soil is fully saturated. They seemed to take it well. I also sprayed them with some neem oil to help keep the pests at bay.
Overall they are looking really good in my opinion, a few of them were leaning quite a bit from the wind so I found some sticks to go give some extra support. I think they're well under way with early flower stage now, soon enough I'l be having fun identifying them.

Nice job man! Those are some beautiful photos you've got there. I haven't got the perfect climate to grow although these last couple weeks have been great. With a stroke of luck mine will look something like that.
Thanks for the advice, I've taken that advice for the most part. It's a bit too urban for my liking but at least I don't have to worry about hikers or anything like that as it's completely closed off, I have to get through a fence first and there's tonnes of stinging nettles to get through. Ideally there would be more direct sunlight however being out of sight is the priority.
Do you have any guerilla grows on this year?

I'll be back again in a few days anyway so I can give them some more then.

For the first time I have seen evidence of someone breaking through the fence that gets into this somewhat forgotten about area, it was likely some kids exploring or a homeless person. I did go in the other direction for a while one day and found a shelter made out road signs a homeless person must have made.
The other direction is much easier to go down as there is much less vegetation and nettles. Anyone that broke through the fence most likely went in that direction especially as the grow spot looked undisturbed.
Now I'm thinking to padlock the fence to help prevent another break in but other than that I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to further discourage anyone from wandering into the direction of my plants.
I always knew this spot was a slight risk but considering most areas of nature around here are full of hiking trails, this seemed to be the most practical location. Especially as I visit the area regularly already.
I'm also thinking of putting a little notice saying it's CBD plants for a medicine and that they are delicate and aren't ready yet but to leave their phone number if they want to try some when it's ready you never know if someone did come accross it (still unlikely) it could stop them chopping and running with the harvest or reporting it.

Haha if I was to respond it'd have to be from a burner phone but I'm not concerned about the police TBH other than chopping them if it's reported.
I was looking up the laws and to make a case on me they would need to get approval for covert surveillance which just wouldn't happen for 9 plants so they'd get chopped but that's it. I don't think they're allowed to leave them in public unless they monitor it 24/7 as well. That gave me peace of mind following through with this project.

You're doing really well with this grow, I've never done a guerilla grow here in the UK, but do one every summer in South West France. Good weather and easy to find good spots.
I have a small grow room in the under stairs cupboard here that keeps me going. Hopefully the strains you're growing give a good harvest. I never got anything like an Oz off autos outdoors, but I would be missing for a month and relying on rain. For feed I would put granules on the soil about every month, like I do for tomatoes.
There's always a worry someone will find them, but that's par for the course. Photos give a much better smoke. You could try putting a little camera there to see what's happening when you're away. I'll be following this grow now and hope it's a success, don't expect this weather every year.
As for the old Bill, always walk past the fence once and see if any car is parked with a driver inside. Also they have cameras as well, so look out for them. Be careful what you have on you when you visit the site. You could offer to walk a neighbours dog and say he's always getting in places for a dump.

I pulled a couple of guerilla grows off in southern Sweden in the nineties and early twothousands using "Early girl" genetics I got from my dad. I have tried a bunch of autos now that I am sort of legal-ish here and what they are lacking is the density honestly. The only ones I've been really happy with are the F1 genetics fromt RQS but yeah, autos work I guess. The early girls went into flower mid august and was hopefully done before the frost hit. One year I was running around with black garbage bags and covered the plants to get them to flower. It sort of worked. Sort of.
When I lived in the UK I befriended a lad who grew weed in a forrest area in-between road strips so there was no one walking through there with their dogs or similar.
Biotabs is a nutrition company based in the Netherlands that make nutrition suitable for this kind of growing style where you can't keep an eye on your plants. I didn't use anything for veg and just a bloom booster. But it depends on how you work your medium.
What I did back in the day was dig a hole the size of a 5-7 gallon bucket, hard work with all the roots and shizz, bring a folding saw and a hatchet. Then I filled the hole with my soil mixture and put my seedling in there and built a "greenhouse" by hammering 4 poles in the ground and stretching cling-film around and over it. When the plant is more sturdy I removed the film.
Deer was an issue so I bought wolf urine and sprayed on nearby trees. First I used my own urine but that didn't have the effect I wanted. I was a vegan beck then and my dad said that was why. Wildlife laughs at vegans.
It is hard work! And if someone finds your plants they are gone. Today with all the cameras and phone surveillance I don't know if I would get into doing anything like that. But don't bring your phone at least.
Just move somewhere where you can grow weed without the hassle man would be my final advice

Sadly they did get too much rain over the past few days but I've used the biobizz mix that has plenty of perlite in it and it appears very light to me even when damp. Currently the atmosphere is fairly moist but that's only when it has been wet due to being hidden amongst a field of stinging nettles that are currently taller than my plants. What I can do is clear a larger area around the plants to help with airflow when I visit next.
We're due a heat wave soon so I'm hoping that will be enough to get them back on track.
I did a bit of research with my seeds and the fast buds Gorilla Cookies seemed the best choice for me as it is ready in 10 weeks and is supposed to be very resilient and easy for beginners. The 3 seeds of Gorilla z came with it as a promo which is supposed to like colder climates and is even faster at 9 weeks. The sweet seeds diablo rojo was also a freebie, I'm not so sure how well that will cope but we will see, its actually the fastest at 8 weeks advertised. I'm interested to see if there will be some red flowers on that one.
I'll do my best to keep the climate as dry as I can and see how I get on.

Yes you are on point Gorilla z is one of the better autos it's a F 4 very stable unlike some others that you won't get what's advertised that whole line is pretty decent I used it to cross with my Twister Magnum opus f11 x Vortex f2 it was the best auto flower I've grown so far.Best time to visit your plants Holidays when everyone is busy doing other things and I always go early morning before everyone is up.This is my Twister

Isn't that a Australian strain if it is.itd only supposed to be 5% THC from what I understand.
