If you haven't read this book you should !!! One of the greatest stories ever written, in my humble opinion. For all of you have read it, the sequel comes out this week.

After 10 years of work, Australian author (and legendary fugitive) Gregory David Roberts will publish a sequel to his 2004 international bestseller, Shantaram.
Grove Press will publish the sequel, titled The Mountain Shadow, on October 13, 2015. Morgan Entrekin, President and Publisher of Grove Atlantic, said in a release: “Grove Atlantic is tremendously excited to be publishing The Mountain Shadow, which doesn’t just continue the story of Lin (aka Shantaram), Karla, Abdullah, and the wonderful cast of Bombay characters but takes it to new heights.”
The Mountain Shadow takes place in Bombay two years after Shantaram, where “Lin’s search for love and faith leads him through secret and violent intrigues to the dangerous truth.”
A film version of Shantaram, produced by Johnny Depp, has been in the works for more than a decade.
