Anyone else ever grow spindly sativas?

I guess it COULD be the LED being too intense, but the other two are taking it fine.

So frustrating to have one pheno be so drastically different than the rest lol

there is a good reason i rave about those high node spaced lanky sativas for outdoor. Tend to be very fungi resistant as well. Can take a lot of pruning and topping to be worth it indoors with plants like that. but they let light deep and can develop all the way down and fill an entire space if you train em right.

Working on a lb or 2 of Columbian dominant flowers RN. High node spaced giant near pure sativa.

These plants can be very picky indoors. Nutrient levels. Very ph sensitive usually. Are usually pretty good at taking wet roots though. Can get rust spots if ya look at em wrong and light burn under LEDs real easy quite often. They can be tricky to take all the way indoors under LED in a tent. Even for experienced growers.

PH is consistent, and I have a lot of different beneficials.

like you said though, these things get light all the way through, and stack up like crazy…so again I’m praying for resolution!

So would you say in your experience with these sativas that you’d definitely NOT push them with light? Keep it safe? I’m just curious because I LOVE the way they grow and how they smoke, and I actually have the space to grow them now even if they take 12 weeks.

Definitely is filled out wayyyyyy more than I was expecting it to!

Just goes to show…don’t judge a book by the first 3 weeks hahaha.

Even the lowers are all really great/trimworthy buds!!

Very happy with how this turned out, and I’m just now finishing week 6.

Got even fatter!!

I swear that anything I’ve grown out that has any OG in its background ALWAYS gets nice buds all the way down the branches!

Buds also got tighter than i expected, that with the long skinny branches resulted in my first time using the yoyos i bought when i first bought my gear lol
