Tobacco is treated with enzymes to speed to conversion of starches to sugars, giving a sweeter smoke, and i've used the same enzymes to make beer with higher alcohol levels. I think part of the curing process of marijuana involves the same conversion but over a slower period of time.
Does anyone know how tobacco is treated with enzymes and how it might be applied to marijuana curing?
Thanks,
ps: doing some quick reading just now shows that tobacco curing may be about removing proteins and nitrogen instead of converting starches to sugars...?
