On the real about @Herbies_Seeds.. kick ass genetics. so far Purple Urkle and Northern Lights #10. Both are doing damn good. Fungus gnats are the only pest I’ve had this run. Honestly, I expected it to happen with my living soil because that’s just what happens. treated and taken care of a week before I put these girls into flower.

1/4 cup of mosquito bits to a gallon of water every 5 days (for three weeks) will help reduce the fungus gnats big time. yellow sticky traps. and/or... try spraying topsoil every other day with some Lost Coast Plant Therapy. It's a blessing in disguise really. They feed off of used up plant material that's gone bad, Just a nuisance and flying in your face sucks. But... the squeeze is worth the juice from what we get out of the end results.

Hey thanks . Big love and appreciation for the tip. I’ve got a clone of the NL in Veg alongside a GDP seed that took right off…. hopefully no more gnat bastards, buuuut, if it does happen I’m gonna snatch up that lost coast therapy

@Herbies_Seeds
Girl Scout Cookies Fast outdoor in no till garden. I sprouted in June and put outdoors at thr beginning of veg. One is 6.5 ft x 5 ft wide the other pheno is 7 ft x 4 feet wide smaller buds.
Looks good to me, especially for outdoor. It also seems to finish fast enough to grow in the northeast. I am going to run a bunch of their stuff in the future. I have their GMO, cherry pie and some other classics

Update: well so far I’m impressed with @Herbies_Seeds based on shipping alone. I placed my order late Sunday evening(US time) from their international shop. Received an email the next day that it was shipped and as of today my package is already in the states and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Between the discounts, shipping, selection, etc. if these seeds are stable I think I found my new seed bank.

So I was contemplating what seeds to get for this upcoming round and saw Herbies had a sale going on. I think I got a decent deal overall. The plan is to run the 6 glue cookies in the 5x5 and 4/5 of the Bruce Banner in a 4x4. Germination willing obviously. Does anyone here grow Herbies seeds or have experience with them? Overall thoughts? Just trying to see what to expect. Not sure what the Amnesia Lemons are in terms of brand but Alpha Fem and EGS seem to be affiliated with Herbies themselves. I do see the reviews on the website seem promising at least.

I used to order from Seedsman for years, but switched to Herbies at some point, mostly because of their customer service.
They also recently launched a Discord where even the people running the company are active, plus folks in charge of stuff like shipping. You can just ask questions directly. Kinda wild how friendly they are and how open they are to actually talking with people.

That kind of “I switched purely because support actually answers” story is the stuff that quietly decides who wins long-term.

From monitoring grow forums for VueLeaf, Herbies gets brought up a lot in the context of responsiveness (quick replies, reships handled cleanly, clearer comms), while Seedsman feedback tends to be more mixed. Usually it’s “big catalog, decent promos,” but inconsistent support depending on the shipping lane and the week.

The Discord point is a big deal too. When a company has a public channel where ops or shipping people show up and answer questions, it usually correlates with fewer rumor spirals and fewer “are they legit?” threads, because problems get handled in daylight.

If anyone reading this is deciding between the two: the safest move is a small test order first, then scale once you’ve seen how they handle tracking, delays, and any missing or freebie issues. Customer service quality only matters when something goes wrong.

Have you had to use Herbies’ support yet, or has it been smooth so far?

I am a first time grower and went with Herbies. I got 14 seeds for about $110 with their Black Friday sale and freebies.
I have three plants going right now, a Purple Juice auto, CBD lemon auto and a Girl Scout cookies fast photo.
All three germinated in less than 24 hours. I am closing in on the harvest time for the Purple Juice. It is 36 inches tall today and was germinated on December 23rd.
I had a few issues along the way but they weren't due to the seeds, just my learning curve kicking in. It is corrected now and everything is going well.
The CBD Lemon auto is about 3 weeks behind on flower right now but it's taking over in size by a huge amount.
For comparison, PJ (Purple Juice) looks like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree, tall and straggly but has buds everywhere! The fan leaves are all very small so it gets light very well. I expect a good yield from it if I manage not to kill it.
CBD is 13 inches shorter and a huge wide dense bush. Two fan leaves likely equal the amount of surface area of area on Pj's leaves in total! It is actually crowding out my other two plants. They are in a 27 gallon tote. Running a home made DWC system that was really easy to make and maintain. I am moving the Girl Scout out to it's own 5 gallon bucket today since it is growing sideways in search of light.
I know that other seed companies maybe cheaper but the few interactions I have had with Herbies will keep me there unless I find a strain I want to purchase and they don't carry. Since I only plan a grew or two per year for medical use, the couple dollars more per seed isn't really a big deal. Especially since they have a 1 year germination guarantee, or free replacement.
I find it funny/head scratching how much money everyone spends on grow tents, lights fans, nutrients, electricity, etc. And then worry about a $2 difference for one seed. If you are a commercial grower I get that it adds up. However, for us home growers I can't see why's maybe $10 difference per year in seeds is such a talking point. Trust me, I am a HUGE penny puncher but great customer service goes a long ways to me.
I realize that things happen outside anyone's control but from what I have experienced they are great to deal with.
Happy growing!

I decided to try them on my last run and went with Gelato Auto. Mostly picked it because I wanted something easy and stable, nothing too experimental. Overall the grow turned out pretty smooth.
The plant moved faster than I expected, especially around the mid to late stage. In about 20 days it went from a light frosty start to stacking pretty noticeably. The whole cycle took around 72 days, just one plant. It handled small mistakes without any issues, didn’t seem too sensitive to feeding or watering, so I’d say it’s a fairly forgiving strain.
Ended up with about 253 g wet weight. The final result had that typical Gelato profile, balanced effects, slightly euphoric and relaxed, with a citrusy and sweet lean on the flavor.
Posting some pics to show how it developed over time.
Overall experience with Herbies was straightforward on my side, everything arrived fine and the genetics performed as expected.
