You mentioned you’re starting a grow system business?

will you be making any aeroponic chambers or kits or ?
The base system will do hydroponics with kits sold separately at a very cost effective price to be able to change the existing system using existing equipment to soilless (coco), soil or aeroponic.

a base 4 site will run roughly $800 soil and soilless kit probably $100-200 and aero around $150-300 im still sourcing material and costing out CnC or injection molds. So still very much in the infancy stages and cost maybe lower.

All north American equipment and will provide a warranty of a yr or extended option to 3yr but have to work out the numbers.

The base sy will get you in the door with quality but you can soend much more on upgrades, kits and accessories that i wont yet discuss depending on your budget and skillset.

i will also be providing support fir system and offering consulting services with plans to exapnd to nutrients, grow room designs, equipment and builds in both kit form and installation in the GTA only for starters if this goes well

Sounds awesome!

I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor and I look forward to seeing it come to fruition and perhaps making a purchase from you one day.

Hey, seedlings are kinda leggy There’s way too many of them in the tent and the light is a little wonky so I’m guessing they’re trying to bend to the higher end of the spectrum because they also seem a little bendy. I have an off brand led grow light called toad and don’t really know the strength of the led light. I’m not sure if I should put it closer because I don’t want to kill the seedlings. I’m also too broke to afford a light meter. Any suggestions? I tried the lux meter app on the phone. I’m not sure how accurate they are. All the apps read different.
How far away are your lights ?

If they are stretching like that for all of them then I would say your light intensity is not stong enough.
Even if you have a few CFLs or something you can place them closer till they grow a bit bigger, then move under the LED

But I would try moving the LED closer.

Nice good luck ! After you’ve spent your whole life making other people money it’s super satisfying to do it for your self !

Hey accidentally dropped a plant bc I was drunk and the soil all came out and I saw a little bit of roots. Think it’ll be okay? πŸ’€ very drunk
Yes just put it back in pot and when you put her back under light put her to side so she aint in direct light

Dont really know exactly how bad it was but plants get transplanted all the time.

shouldnt be an issue

You can lower your light a bit, but ultimately you want your seedlings reaching for it not shying away, did you sow a 1/2inc deep? If not that is why they popped high, no worries I know a trick, first off you should be bending them back and forth a few times a day bc this will help there stem harden faster this is called light lst-ing, allso if they start to fall over take 2 plastic bread ties and smooth them our, take 1 tie and burn plastic off half of it, you will see a thin wire leave that end alone, take the other tie and connect to first by giveing a little twist, make a little loup at end of tie, stick wire end in dirt well away from seedling and gently put the loup around your wayward seedling, this will hold seedling in place till stem hardens, I have used this trick many times and allways works, or you can cut a slit in a plastic straw and make a little cast but bread tie trick works better.

I have a 200cfm fan and I wasn’t really looking to buy a fan speed controller. If I can keep the humidity up does it matter if I keep that running as my exhaust fan or will it create too much negative pressure. I do not have an intake fan so it would only be passive intake and my tent is only supposed to have about 40-60cfm for exhaust

Dont need an intake, passive tissue intake is fine.

humidity is not the most idea but its not if any major concern. As they grow they will be the humidifiers soon enough.
Just sit back and relax, tuck your ands under your ass and hurry up and wait lol

What about the exhaust fan? Is 200cfm too much or no?

so my plants are drooping for some reason. I don’t see how it could be from overwatering but that’s what it looks like. I watered them this morning after not watering for 4 days when I used the correct amount of water for their container size and have had the humidity around 30-35%. Even the plants I didn’t water are starting to droop.

Wxplain you watering practices.

take and tilt then 45 degrees with a drainhole pointed down. Leave em like that for 5-10 min

You temperature adjust the water? If not try tepid water next time.

mix of the nedia again? Eg coco/perlite

if coco did you pack it down or rinse it?
