I’ve been using a scale to get a little better sense of when to water. Watered a third cup at 180g before and it went to 231g after. Watered it 5 days later at 182 and it went to 234.

Just two cents. Maybe the cup inside of the cup thing is slowing down your dry back. I would want them Drying back a little faster than five days.

They are going to stuggle for a while.

in preferted soul with low humidity and unsure of temps yet.

There’s a stick on the bottom keeping it from staying from reaching the bottom about 1 or 2 inches away and it’s just for runoff. How would it slow down it drying?

Just to cents ,Then I will shut up. I used to have problems with seedlings. Switched to 9 ounce solo cups and will never use an 18 ounce again. Thank you gnick55! I drilled one or two 1/8 inch holes in the bottom. And about 10 or 12 into the sides kind of haphazardly around the bottom 2/3 of the cup. I Swiss cheese them. That way the whole cup dries back every two or three days and raising the seedlings has become a breeze. Instead of a cluster fuck. They seem to love it.

Does your light by chance have a veg and bloom switch? The light looks a bit heavy on the red side compared to most veg settings on a blurple light. If it does, turn off the bloom switch and just run the veg switch, it will keep them shorter. If you do this you will need to move the light closer as it will be weaker because it will turn off the red LED's.

Yes they do and I only have veg on and they are at 3500 lux
