I'm using a greenhouse like that but this is first year and humidity is extra high this year. I've got the front door open most of the time (unless there's high wind coming) so humidity is at outdoor levels at my place.Does anyone use these. This will be second year but worried bout high humidity
I've got a 20' x 10' hoop house with hard clear polycarbonate glass. I ran a crop last year that finished in mid October but tossed a lot of it in the trash due to bud rot. I have two 1650 cfm attic fans for ventilation. On the hottest days of summer, the ventilation will reduce the heat to almost outside the greenhouse temperatures. However, during the fall and with the rise in humidity the fall brings in Michigan, I could not clear the condensation from the glass even by running those fans day and night. Due to a confrontation with the neighbor over our dogs, we didn't grow anything in the greenhouse this year ... but when I do run a crop in there again, I will pay careful attention to what strains I use. Early/Fast version photo-period strains that finish before October will beat the wet humid fall weather in Michigan. Auto-flowers finishing in August/September are another option.Does anyone use these. This will be second year but worried bout high humidity
And I might only put the cover on and leave bottom 3rd openThose pice were from last year flowers. This is what I'm doing this year to raise it for air flow plus I need the height too
The heat & humidity has been a challenge here in MI this year.
That will help if you live in a dry climate and will help keep temps down during the day, but it won't do much for humidity if you live in a humid climate. Also it will greatly reduce the effectiveness of a sulfur burner if you choose to use one.And I might only put the cover on and leave bottom 3rd open
