Anyone Using Mapito Media?

Hi,

I am just about to start my first grow and someone suggested Mapito as a media. I was originally going to use coco as i have a wilma drip system.

Can anyone tell me if they think this is a better media than coco?

I've got a bag of mapito here I was going to try in a waterfarm (hate hydroton, love coco) - but to be honest coco is just the greatest. I've got some sunflowers outside in mapito loving it, but coco is just easier all round imho with amazing results.

I'd go coco in the wilma. IMHO the key to a good Wilma grow is getting the right strains for it....or knowing your strain to train it. I think you want narrow and tall plants (e.g. sativa dominant) to save overcrowding. But you can't go wrong with straight coco in a wilma....
