I think I'm going to flip tomorrow, I wanted to wait until at least 6 weeks veg but gorilla glue is just growing so fast and getting to tall. On the other hand, grandaddy purple could probably use a few more weeks in veg. Alas, this is my only grow space so they will both have to go into flower.
I know I should probably prune alot of the leaves, but is there anything else I should do before flipping?

I'd just keep trying to redirct those bud braches into open squares. Yes it's getting leaf overlay which i generally trim. Otherwise your plants look really healthy and ready.

yeep. how's you PH now? higher?
have a fun during stretch 😉
Yes! Gorilla is at 6.5 and grandaddy is at 6.2. Finally! Ph has definitely been my biggest issue, but hopefully that's over 😂

Thanks! I was wondering how much I should trim. Would you say almost everything under the canopy or just the leaves that are on top of eachother?

Make sure they're ready for the stretching. I think of it as the last part of the vegetation stage. So, they'll need vegetation nutrients, especially nitrogen. I also like to give them a good dose of magnesium. (I water in 1 tablespoon of Epsom Salt per gallon of water for that.) As they begin to flower, they'll benefit from increasing the phosphorous and potassium, while decreasing the nitrogen.

Keep in mind that the Daily Light Integral (DLI) will decrease when the hours of light decrease. Gradually stepping up the light intensity should be considered.

I'm using foxfarm soil trio and cal mag for feeding, I last fed 4 days ago. My plan was to prune, feed, and flip today. Would that be too much at once?
They would each receive:
15ml of big bloom
10ml of grow big
5ml of tiger bloom
5ml of cal-mag
Mixed in a gallon of water

The light intensity is currently at 50% I was thinking about going up to 80% for flowering, or should I go to 100%?

first week- 60%, second-70%, from third I would crank up more and look for light stress
got some advises myself today and listened and had to check my ppfd and stuff on light. Would do that too 😉 while deciding on how and when to crank up
And good job on PH 👍

Thanks man, it took awhile. I just did a soil test today before feeding and they're still both still at those same amounts 😁. ph'd my nutrient mixture to 7.
That sounds good for the light increase, thanks.
Gorilla is 2ft right now,🤞fingers crossed it stays under 5ft 😅

That seems like a lot of nutrients at one feeding. I don't use those Fox Farm nutrients or calmag, however. About a week before I flip the light, I start combining veg and flower nutrients.

They don't flower the moment the lights change. I think it's best to think of the stretch as the last of vegetation. It takes 10 days, more or less, before budding begins. During stretch, the plants can double or even triple in height. It's amazing how much they can grow. So, my recommendation is to make sure the plant is healthy and ready for rapid growth before the flip.

Increase the light gradually and watch for signs of light stress.
