Thats a pretty nice clean clone set up you got going there. $19.99 is right up my alley right now and thanx for the Lowes heads up, Ill be grabbing a rack next week. your Pic also reminded me to get a dome for my clone tray.

Am I seeing Panda Plastic on the walls or did you make your own tent for the clones using Panda Plastic?

Update 3/29

Ive finally got my Room temp in control now. Its a constant 75.5 Degress during lights on and its at 72.5 with light off :lock:

Watered the ladies today, they are stretching for that light. Almost all except for one has caught up height wise to the monster in the tent. They all appear to love their water in between 5.9-6.1 ph.

During VEG I shoot for 5.9-6.0 ph

During FLOWER I plan to aim for 6.0-6.1

Not much of a change at all but its something im testing to refine my techniques and see how the plants respond.

Today was only a water with NO nutes day.

My water regime is slightly different for feeding vs watering.

When I feed I add Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom and feed using 1 1/2 GALLONS of water.

When I simply water I run through my small boy filter then I adjust the PH to 6.0-6.1. The difference is that when I water I only give the plants 1 GALLON.

When I feed I give them a slightly larger helping vs when I water. [Agian just a little theory Im trying out to see if the plants grow more vigoursly]

Today I also took a few more Pics of the monster and one other plant to show the progress. I also finally got my carbon filter off of the ground space and hung it up from the tent ceiling.

Here is The monster Plant as you can see the Grow Big works wonders. I included the Grow Big bottle for a scale of size since my camera is no good.

Im 6'4 and I couldnt get the Camera High enough to take a full picture of the Monsters canopy.I stopped counting at 11 heads. From now on I will be following my present method of letting the plants VEG out then only TOP the plants ONE TIME [ 10-14 days before the flip to flower ] MAGICAL RESULTS

This is a pic of the canopy of a smaller plant that I COULD get a high shot of

And lastly here is the Carbon filter I hung up. Only cost me 2 dollars. I used two HUGE zip ties.

Feeding will happen in 2 or 3 days and possibly a trimming of anything hanging out around the lower canopy.

I went out and picked up a dome for my propagation tray yesterday. When I put the Dome on with a little water and closed the slots my clones began to perk up which makes me very happy.

I thought I was honestly going to end up losing all the new clones I just cut. It was my first attempt cloning so I wouldnt have been torn to pieces but it still would have been pretty shitty feeling to overall fail.

I originally cut 20 clones, now there are 8 healthy clones left, not bad for my first time cloning. I think I would have had a MUCH higher % out of the 20 if I only had that Prop Dome earlier.

Chalk that up as living and learning. Next time I take cutting they will ALL survive. Mark my words.

I also picked up a NICE stainless steel wire rack with 3 tiers that now house my 3 mothers and my 8 clones.

Thanx to SNOWBLIND for that recommendation. The wire Rack cost $20 at LOWES for anyone interested. Each shelf holds up to 200 LBS. All I need now is another T5 panel and my cloning station is GOOD to go.

Last night I hit my plants with some greencure after lights went out just as a preventative measure. No PM yet to speak of. hope that trend keeps up.

I also got to use my new Green light flash light which was a good time.haha

I used the small side of the greencure scoop and mixed it with about 50 ounces of water then I sprayed down the ladies in the tent and also my 3 mother plants in my Lab. I Check the plants this morning at lights on I saw that they responded well to there night spray and are very lush and ready for some water.

Today is day 5 of flower and the plants have already began to shoot out some hairs. Im hoping to see some buds forming pretty soon here, once i do Ill get some more pics up. I plan to let them flower for a total of 60-70 days. Pair that with a 5 week VEG and these ladies should be quite large and ripe by harvesting time. :harvest:

Im getting ready to water today. The schedule calls for a feeding today but a few of the ladies have minor curling and IMHO i think I ran the Nutes a little too hot on my last feeding during VEG. So today I will be skipping the first FLOWER feed and going with Ph Adjusted water. Then I will monitor the ladies the next few days and give them a feed next time around.

While watering the plants they will also receive a trim of anything under the canopy and If I find any good ops I will be keeping a clone or two to further refine and test my cloning/rooting process.

I need 2 get me 1 of those racks how was the Sour Aliens buds u got from HS? I seen it on the menu & wanted 2 head 2 Oakland but I was low on ends.. But how was the smoke? I like ur gaint monsters in the tent that's a crazy big plant in ur tent..

The Sour Alien was pretty legit smoke with a slightly more body couch lock effect then head high. The bag appeal was damn good too it was a light white frosty green with hints of light purple.

In looks and in the smoke it reminded me of the Sour Grapes I grew out 2 grows back. And I loved those Sour Grapes.

SO thats what lead me to pick up my Sour Alien mom so i can clone her for an upcoming test and grow :harvest:

The big monster pheno is outrageous. It is the perfect pheno in my opinion. It shows off the perfect union between the Jack and the G13.

Its tall with long shoots like a sativa, yet it rastas out and has huge fan leaves with a darker tint like a Indica. Im very excited to see what comes off of her.

I was able to keep 2-3 clones from her as well. (future Breeding Attempt coming up) Once I pick up some beans Ill b looking for a nice stud to cross her genetics with in hopes of something nice.

by the way that Rack I have is $20 at Lowes and each shelf holds 200 Lbs. perfect for clones/cuttings/mothers.

Gettin' busy in here... Can't seem to zoom in on the photos for some reason though. Hmmm, I'd highly recommend some heavy nylon belt straps in lieu of those large twist ties on the carbon filter... Better safe than sorry... :thinking

Yesir. Spent another 6 hrs in the lab today cutting a couple more clones and trimming anything under the canopy. I also had to adjust the good old lights and water all te ladies including my moms. Literally just spent 6 hours working my ass off for those ladies.

The reason why you can't zoom into the pics is because I've been using my crappy IPhone 3 camera.

I'll be hopefully picking up a point and shot digi this month. So I should be able to get some better pics up.

I was going to get the canvas straps but my guy at the store reassured me the zip ties would do the job since my carbon filter isn't too heavy. It's held ip well without any problems but I will still prob upgrade to something more secure after I pull the ladies in a few weeks.

ok back at it. Yesterday was hot as F*** and I spent 6 hours of my day in the lab, trimming and taking A few more clones before the ladies got too late into flower. I also watered them using only Ph adjust and filtered H20.

I grabbed cuttings from my numero uno #1 pheno, which is the monster who shows great sativa/indica marriage.and I grabbed a few cuttings from another pheno which is leaning slightly more towards the Jack sativa side being taller will the slimmer fan leaves. After taking the intial cuttings I made the final clone cut under water. then it was straight into the clonex rooting gel followed by there semi permanant home in the Ph Adjusted RW cubes. After that I placed them in my Prop tray gave the dome a few sprays and sealed it up and threw it under the T5 panel. Checked in on them this morning and they were all reaching for that light looking viberant and healthy still :)

Counting the clones I took yesterday I have a total of 21 clones from (3) different pheno types. The monster pheno is the keeper in my opinion but I will be growing out all to test and see for myself. Then Ill end up keeping 1-3 depending on results for further clones.

After cutting the clones I topped My XJ mom for the first time and cleaned up all lower growth. ill be keeping an eye on her the next few days to make sure this bonsia method works out and I can keep her short and wide.

Ive attached some new pics as well. In this order:

Nice job AliasAO! Yeah I'm keeping busy, but lately I've tried to spend as little time working in the garden... My first two yrs of growing, I would spend hours in the garden every day... One benefit of being unemployed. My ultimate goal is to get my timing down for less work... Gotta continue to work smarter, not harder... :cool

I wish I could have gotten the carbon filter for 2 caper. Just make sure when u invest in a carbon filter u get a large enough one for your space or it will still reek of weed.

Thanx shady Im trying to keep it pushing. Im still in that honeymoon stage spending hours a day in the Lab but working smarter than harder is a great goal to aim for. Im lucky enough to be without job and with money to pay bills too.

Ive worked alot of odd jobs and I can safely say working for urself in the garden is a pleasure compared to punching a clock for someone elses agenda.

I plan on going hard this year. Id like to complete atleast 4 grows and do a little bit of breeding somewhere in there.

What kind of techniques or timing are you trying in order make everything less time consuming Shady?

Ahh yes... The honeymoon stage is an excellent analogy! I've broken down all the diff mediums and the same corresponding nutrient regiments for each based on diff stages of growth. As an example it can be tricky to concurrently have plants from seedlings and clones to mothers, veg and bloom, soil and hydro... My tip is to stick with the same nutrients for each type of medium, take good notes, and prepare your nutrient mixes in advance of watering based on those notes and adjusted on what the current plants are asking for... :thinking

Golden info Shady.. That is actually precisely what Ive been doing this grow around for the most part. I keep a notebook and dry erase blue board in the Lab. whenever I water or feed i document the Ph levels amount of nutes per gallon and effect on the plants. It also helps that I always go with FFnutes to.:cool0010:

Within the next grow or two I will be using my Flood table REZ and trying the HYRDO route. Ill be using smart pots in prob an ebb and flow/ DTW depending. The hand watering is nice for the hands on but flipping a switch or timer for feeds is alot better IMO. I can handle premixing and adjusting all Day :harvest:

Im really looking forward though to getting my first bag of beans and finally growing one from sprout to stout:love0018:

I find that treating it like a science experiment is the best way to go!!

In time, if you wish, you can go all powders for ferts, and be set. Its so cheap too.......fuck the fert companies! Additives my ass, just make a proper formula to start with! Sorry to be off topic.

Yes the answer to your question about the scoop size for the Greencure is the smaller scoop that they give you. I scoop one of those little scoops into 32oz of H20. This only burns the resins and hairs of the plants just a little. Your diluted mixture should be fine on new growth I would think. Shady has posted that he uses 2 smaller scops per 32oz of H2O on his ladies.

That plant is already way too big! You are fucked!

You are right in time my friend. I was just getting ready to Spray the ladies using the GC in about 30 mins. Ive got a 64 OZ pump spray bottle so ill be using 2 scoops maybe a tad more.'

They are looking great. They just had theyre first feed with the Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom and Beastie B today and they were very happy. I saw just the smallest spec of PM or what looked like PM, I may be paranoid though Since I had a friend over yesterday with a great camera to take a few pics of the ladies but my ceiling has that flaky white shit that comes offs. That may have been what fell on the plant. Regardless though, Im giving them a spray tonight just incase and ill montior them the next few days.

Once my buddy emails me the Pics I will update . We got a couple of really Nice shoots of the flowers starting to Bud.

By the way I feel you on the powder Nutes. Ill prob use these for my next few grows but once they deplete ill be grabing some Jacks and going the Smart pot Hydro route :)

Picked up a bag of "Secret Recipe" Beans and hopefully got a freebie Bag from AliGee of something crossed with WIFI, I think WIFI#1 X Bubba.

Im just wondering when I should expect the beans to be here?

Smoke some weed and chill. Logic will deliver if you follow instructions to a T. You must use the $30.00 option for sending that shit! You will get your beans if you do.

The spot is PM, not white shit off the ceiling. Its ok though. You will be able to use the Greencure to keep that shit in check. You need to give very thorough sprayings, deep into the plant, all over the buds and both sides of the leaves where the greencure in fact runs runs down the stems. Spray up under the plants as well, very well. The next day look at the stems to see if there is an accumulation of dead PM spores, if so wipe them off.

Wear a long sleeved shirt if possible and gloves, even though its really similer to baking soda. Dont be afraid to sparay everything! Cut out plastic circle and use those around the base of the plants so the greencure wont run off into your soil.

Tame your big plants. Im not joking you are fucked......they will be up to the lights in no time...hahaha. XJ does not stretch as much as Casey Jones but more than Romulan.

From HHS center this grow all legit cuts...

Roms
Super Grape Ape (looking nice)
Sweet Tooth (crazy shit)
Chernobyl (lots of stretch but killer looking buds and frosty..lanky)
Casey Jones (maybe Joe Schmoes cut via GTD???)
XJ-13 very legit shit when grown proper...

had to trow out my Kens GDP because it came home all fucked up with PM. I was laughing at the fact that I didnt even see that shit at HHS. My bad! It could to buy one clone and make a bunch of cuts.....I bought one Kens, its was fucked up on day one so I threw it out no big deal! If I had bought 24 of those clones I would be pissed!

They come with PM though for free as an added bonus, thanks for shopping.....at the end of the day HHS center is still the Walmart of cannabis in the bayarea! We should get some cuts from Sac town and Progressive Options down south........

I could just keep poping all of my beans!!! I like clones and beans, beans and clones, seeds everwhere....
