Have you tried Spinosad based sprays?
No, I used BT for worms. We planted cabbage and lettuce in the garden. If I had left them on the deck there wouldn’t have been an issue. None of the plants at the house had any bugs.

Chopped them in disgust yesterday. Moderately frosty. Maybe get a pound of butter out of all of them.

Dam, I had a few ants floating around and my plants health went downhill fast. I knew ants farmed and ate the honeydew from aphids, but I had no idea they actually carry them to plants. So now, I'll have to figure a way to keep ants out of my grow cabinet.. Vinegar? Lemon juice?

I guess ants arent as innocent as I thought!

You got my curiosity up and I found this...

Alcohol lemon Juice and canola oil. It wiped them out but there was only 2-3 buds that stacked more than 3-4 flowers. It hermed one possibly as well.

I've been fighting cannabis aphids since last fall when I brought some outside branches indoors to trim. The little fuckers jumped ship and made it onto some indoor plants. By the time I realized, they had spread to the veg and flower tents. I keep the numbers down with insecticidal soap (1.5tsp soap & 1tsp veg oil per litre) but it's impossible to eradicate them from the flowering plants. I added a bunch of ladybugs last week, if that doesnt do it I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to shut it all down, sterilize and start over from seeds.
For some reason, the aphids seem to strongly prefer the non-flowering plants, I think they know the trichomes are sticky death traps. I remove the large fan leaves in mid-to-late flower (around week 6) and that seems to remove a majority of aphids and their feeding ground. After harvest and trimming the sugar leaves, there are hardly any aphids or insect debris when examined under a microscope. Besides, I've worked in Quality Control, I'm aware of and am comfortable with the acceptable amount of insect parts in all our favourite mass-produced delicious delights - at least this is going up in smoke lol
I’ve washed the buggy buds and it cleans out most of it with lemon and baking soda. I haven’t been disappointed in not smoking what I see floating in the bucket lol. Good luck getting those bastards knocked out. I won’t grow in the summer anymore. Just a pita in my location.

I released about 200 ladybugs into my grow tent and I cant believe the difference. After about 10 days all aphids were gone except the teeny tiny young 'uns....now, about 10 days after that, about 80-90% of the ladybugs are gone (replaced by larvae) and the surviving aphids are mature. Even if they arent eventually eradicated by successive generations, it's been a nice break not having to spray with soap to keep the numbers down. The few ladybugs that escape the tent are drawn to the handful of plants I have on the outside so they havent been a problem and I havent seen a single one outside the grow tent room.

I made the mistake of releasing all the ladybugs at once. They wiped out all the aphids but not the eggs. Once the ladybugs died off, the eggs hatched and aphids returned. I found more ladybugs delivered from Home Depot of all places and released about 50% 2 weeks ago, 25% yesterday with the remainder to be released in a week or two.

I’ll never spray again. It really messed em up in the end.
