So I'm finally approaching my very first harvest for my very first grow room. Does the trichomes look clear or milky to you guys? Took these pics about 3 days ago. Tried taking the best pics I could. I think I will start my 10 day flush towards the end of this week.

I know everyone has their very own process of harvesting but wanted to see if there are any suggestions/advice that you guys have that I should know? I'm planning to flush for 10 days with water, leave the plants in dark for 24-48 hours, wait for the plants to dry up before chopping, then start the hanging and drying process.

These are from yesterday. I'm not trying to go by the color of the hairs since I read that it's better to go by the color of the trichomes.

ok mate im just gonna put my two pence! in good job by the way .i been growing for 21 years inside and out. you done really well for first time iv had apprentices such as your self and i alwsy give them a good praise after helps to be nice.flush flush flush make sure water temps are at 19/20 i like 2 weeks minimum. if you leave in dark for 48 hours.i like to bring like to bring cold air.only if you have control over the temp and are dialled in and have the ability to do so.and bring temps down to around 17c can go lowerbut i wouldnt go below 15C. is spot on for me at least. or there abouts. will give you a nice finsh. make sure you do a 4 week dry 3 week dry minimum as cold as possible.keep humidty down to first few days you can let humidty in crease up to 70 max aftger the 3 days to allow the process to slow down and bring temps down cold like 15/16 colder the better will just take longer to dry out. the longer it takes the better the finsh. had some 6 weeks dry here in spain wow sticky and terpy galore. then you can jar up or what ever your technique you choose to cure or dont. some people dont appreciate a cure cause you can lose terpenes and color due to heat or bad techniques.most people dont know where the product comes from which amazes me.im full organic i grow in and out. biggest yield on a single plant i wont say how many was going but was around 10.3 kilo 600 gallon smart pots. its actaully easy to achiebve this its just the upscaling which you have to get used to. ie feeds lol no feed table is for 5 meters trees with pig pen cages ....i use teas btw microbial and organic best way fro absorbtion.anyways enjoy people

btw i forgot to say your chems are a little bit high so yes defo flush. you can always tell by darkness of green leaves by how you plants are uptaking nutrients.the tips are slightly burnt and you have devils claw a little buit in places. if you can acheive this nearly 3 weeks out next time or at least a full two and flush with ph water with the righ temp will give you a nice finsh. but yea looking cool dude!

Appreciate the feedback either way. My water temps and room night temps are already aligned with your feedback. Also in response to your feedback about the dark leaves, I have a runtz strain and they are a pretty heavy purple colored strain so they look dark in the pictures. The cold temps have also been inducing more purple coloring.

Kudos to you @dezahp first time out of the gate and you’ve killed it. @Greenmachine1984, don’t know why your acting slighted...certain that wasn’t anyone’s intent, but the pic’s or it didn’t happen has been popular on this site for a long time, it wasn’t rolled out just for you...
PS, what’s the strain?

Gelato and runtz. It's pretty easy to tell. The greener plants are the gelatos and the dark ones are runtz since the runtz have turned purple. I have pink runtz teens pre-ordered for my next run but I don't think I will run runtz anymore after that. Runtz buds are small compared to others and I confirmed that with my friend who has run runtz since beginning of last year but is stopping because he doesn't like how the buds don't grow that big. I'm not running the same clones as him either. Comparing the colas on the gelatos and runtz is like night and day...soda cans vs golf balls

dude i know that but if you look at the tips they are burnt and some of the fan leaves are doung a thing called devils claw its cool mate some people like to hit that 3 weeks out then flush.each to here own there good mate. well done my friend for first run. good growers are usually very successful on first run i busted out 3.12kg yield on the old hps lights only 4 x 600 w in nft trays 16 plants 4x2.4 tent peoplle told me id struggle to hit 1 gram per watt lol. limits are for imted people remeber that.that was 20 years ago never looked back....wait to you get an outdoor field you ill love it the space the bigger plants, nature is beutiful and so is life.!
