soil is no way designed around mass prodution, but is wonderful for folk with a full card and other things going on as veggie gardens ,also if your state allows all you need is one tree to get what you guys in water get ,so it even steven in most cases ,just how you look at it,im am very interested in veggie gardening in water though and havent gave up yet ,hahahah looking like this year gonna be top garden only so water buckets might be a lot in sight hahahahI would like to try coco, but I like the idea that with soil I can leave them unattended for a lot longer than if using coco.
It actually looks like a closet from the outside For the most part. I know I cheaped out on the 3rd door. Rather than buy another 4x8 sheet and didn't out door handles on. You could make it really pretty if ya want but I just made mine to be functional.I’m trying to make it as simple as possible except the training stuff. I think i like that to much lol. But its really cool to see all the science involved i love reading about it. Maybe some day when i grow up ill be able to have a real grow room. Maybe not hydro, that’s a lot to maintain, but your space is pretty clean bro. I dream of having a space i don’t have to hide so much.
More $$$$ getting dump into this $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ PitBeing a soil guy myself, I'm tired of seeing the results of soil vs. hydro. I'm finally attempting the switch. Once my feet are wet and I'm up to speed, I can see myself doing a complete changeover. I can't deny the results of explosive growth of hydro compared to soil. It certainly speeds things up and may even allow one more cycle squeezed in per year.

Ok we have all 6. Up and ready to plop them in the system probably tomorrow. 1 has a tap root out the bottom. Usually wait a bit longer to put them in but these pellets are much smaller than what I usually use.
System is filled and leak tested and everything thing is ready to go
Temps are 80f
Humidity 80% (will be dropping to 70% once I put em in the system)
They are at 10k lux today up from 5k
Now which 4 do we pick? Lol

i left the oil field when computors took over,i have taken a lot of pride in my trade and still do,do it once, job shops were the best thing for me,prodution shops are boring, job shop you take a print ,go to yard get your steel cut it on the saw and finish that part to ship,a lot of love goes into that,i couldnt even try to remember how many well heads saddam blew up i made for that country,i love the challenge of every machine from set up to finish, grind all my own tools and all,ya bro them days are done,it is truely amazing what these machines can do these days,i was just talking to my wife after evening news saying, all it takes is one human to progarm a machine, when and were are folks gonna work in the future the competion will be so great that even folk into thecnolegy wont have jobs,a machine even does that, before you no it,it will be a picture put in front of a computor ,programed to mass produce and done, were will andwhat will humans do for livings if you dig what im saying,my hay day is come and gone, one thing i can still say and proud to is that i am a craftsman, most these days cant say that and it is sad, pleasures me to make something with my hands useing nothing, before long even the housing market will be robots building housing and such aint that the shits@oldskool4ever I too am a journeyman toolmaker!
