are digitial balasts UL listed ?

im looking to buy a light with digital ballasts, im havent been able to find any information about the digital ballasts being UL list, anyone know that can share?

Indeed they are, if you look in the post about quantum ballasts on the first page I posted a picture, you can see the UL logo on the ballast.

I think anything that plugs in and is sold in the us or canada it has to be ul listed.

Not nessisarily. UL listing is optional. On top of that I know that some of the cheap brands of ballasts are in fact not UL listed. Also if you look at many of the products available to us as growers you begin to see that many have no listing. Pretty shady actually. Most of the high end stuff is from what I have seen.
