I started the Two black pines in august, I have week 1 of veg Marked as August 14th, Flipped them to flower October the 2nd.
Both plants are being grown with 2x SF1000 & one luxbird 100W light in a 2x4x4 Grow tent.

This is my third time growing and still not sure on harvesting, Majority of the trichomes are milky with a portion of them amber I cant seem to see very many clear trichomes, but there still seems to be alot of whiteish hairs and some of the hairs have turned orange/brown and shriveled in.

Its hard to take decent pictures with the loupe to the camera but there is more amber than I could capture in the pictures.

Any information would be greatly appricated thanks :D

Close but still got mayb a week to go in my opinion.
It’s hard to say if they are ready as you need to look at the trichomes on the bud rather than the trichomes on the sugar leaves. They will always turn amber first on the sugar leaves.

While inspecting the plants furthur, I've noticed a small set of nanners forming on a small bud site on the edge of the tent, Probably going to flush the plants tomorrow then wait a day or so then give them two days of darkness then harvest, If anybody thinks this is a bad idea or has any other opinions please let me know thanks.

I'm hoping it wont be an issue because their so late in flowering. My calender says this is week 9 since the day I changed my timers.

That’s a natural process in late bloom plants will sometimes throw nanners as a last ditch effort to reproduce. I believe she is ready.

When your looking thru your micro scope at the trics be conscience of the fact the bright white led lights that are them will make all the clear tric heads look milky white.

Ive written this before on another post but never go by just 1 sign the girls are ready because every strain is a little different.

The cylaxes the plant part the hairs come out of will swell up almost dpuble size. The white hairs stop sprouting, or slow to a crawl, the white hairs turn orange brown colour but dont shrivel up to nothing if they do its pollinated. The smell will noticably change, the trics colour of course, and the pot takes a long time to dry up as the plant will slow it uptake of warer.

Ive harvested early due to just watching the colour or amount of amber trics.
