Does it look like some male bits are stating to appear?

I feel like I’m finding little nanners but it may just be new white hairs. It’s hard to tell with all these foxtails. Honestly pretty insane how much these are fingering out....

This strain has done some pretty strange things throughout

No male parts, just new bud growth. Some strains grow like that, makes pruning a bitch. I have 4 purple chem seedlings and 1 is growing like that.

I don't see nanners but I'd cut it now. That foxtailing is only going to get worse.

Thank you for the replies, I planned on cutting the other day and keep holding out.

100-% though the foxtailing has only gotten much worse over the past 10 or so days.
The buds haven’t really grown much.

They are still however drinking 5-7 gallons of water still a day.

I normally like to see about 10-20% amber, but this thing is at 11 weeks of flower now. And as gorilla said, the foxtails are getting worse by the minute.

I began feeding them reduced nutrients around .5ec 10 days ago, and now they have just had water alone for the past 2.5 days

Any tips on how to trim up these things? I’ve never had anything tail like this. I planned on cutting off large fans and dead leaves, hang drying in 60rh climate, and then dry trimming the rest.

Do you guys recommend anything different since these are so oddly shaped? Will it be harder to trim after dry when they are like this?

thank you again for the responses

What strain?
Trim like you normally would... Just a little more time consuming when they do that.

This is supposed to be Sour D.

I think the fox-tailing was caused by the massive stretch that occurred for 6 weeks into flower.

The light is an ROI-720.

They actually grew into the light, as I didn’t think I had any more room to raise the light ,however it’s amazing what you can do when the pressure is really on. I got an extra 12” by removing the ratchet straps and cabling the light to the top frame of the tent.

It saved the crop, however I think the ramifications were tons of foxtails,

Also only the top colas are fox-tailed. The bottom nugs have a much nicer structure

I've read that especially with LEDs, foxtailing can happen due to the light intensity. I'm starting to see some on my plants at just over four weeks, and last run they didn't really do it. I also upgraded lights, and like you, stretch just killed me this round so they're much closer to the lights than I'd prefer. Kills bag appeal, but doesn't really affect smokability much.

Thought so... Looks legit. Hope you kept some cuts... That's a gem right there.
This pic makes my mouth water.

Just got to close to the lights this grow... I have some GMO going now that I flipped too big doing similar.

11-12 weeks harvest for that beauty... Will likely spit a few sterile nanners towards the end.

You guys rock.
Feeling much better now.

I am going to harvest today. It is 13 weeks from the flip. 11 weeks since the first showed pistols.

What can be done to prevent such massive stretch with LEDs? This is my first run with LEDs.

Throughout nearly the whole grow they showed signs of light stress. Not heat stress forsure. I maintain 76-80F right under the lights for the entirety of the grow.

I have the LUX output, photos , and light distance of said stress issues throughout the grow if that helps anyone to give advice.

Essentially though, they showed no real signs of improvement when raising the light or lowering the intensity.

and keep in mind they looked pretty good the whole grow, just off signs of light stress the manifested itself in different ways.

Sour D stretches.
I would figure a way to gain vertical grow space and/or flip smaller plants.
