Are Trichomes Ready For Harvest ?

New member here.

And a new grower too.

I have two indoor White Widow Autoflower plants. I'm wondering if theses trichomes are looking good. In other words should I harvest now? It's been about 9 weeks growth time....

You need more powerful magnification to tell what's going on with your trichs. You're very close, though -- likely within a week.

To be able to tell you will need a magnifying glass of some kind. You can get them for 10-20 bucks

Although from zooming in a bit. It seems like some of the trichomes are still clear. It’s hard to be sure. But I’d say you have anywhere from 1-3 weeks left

your zoom is enough to see amber trichromes, none in sight yet you can push them a little bit more

Lookin good though man! Nicely frosted. Not seeing any amber at all really, my preference is around 5% amber.

Try a jeweler's loupe, 30x magnification gets you right on top of them with a decently wide view. Personal experience with a wireless micro is it's not worth it. Takes far more time setting it up so it doesn't move on you because holding it by hand is a true pain. Unless you need to take close up pics use a loupe. like 5 bucks on amazon.
