First time grower here. I have some slurricane bag plants that have been running 10 weeks from flip (9/11). I’ve noticed a decent amount of frost with only some amber. Not drinking as much as she used to and started throwing her fall colors. Should I let it go longer?

OK, this happens often so I won't come beat you down like many might, but there is really know way of knowing from the pics you provided... You really need to show the trichomes to get a good answer.. Your looking for cloudy and amber trichomes with 90% of the pistols (red hairs) curling in. White pistols are a clue that you have some time left, but trichomes tell the true story...

Here is an example of a trichome picture I took before harvest.. You can see mainly cloudy trichomes with a few ambers starting to pop...

If your seeing amber on the buds (not sugar leaves) you are in the harvest window... BUT I do see many white hairs (pistols) which leads me to believe you have some time to go... How long is this strain supposed to flower for?

It was a bag seed from a less than reputable NY seller. Just trying out some low stakes growing . I’ve been watching the second and 3rd wave of pistils throw out. This is the third time wave. I’m wondering if maybe I messed things up by introducing a better/brighter light at the 6 week point

Nice pics, but I still cant say for sure. (I have enough trouble being sure with my own plants!) It is looking Sativa to me, and many Sativas have long flower times.

Your looking cloudy, I see the hairs curling in, but I'm also seeing some clear thrics and white pistols. I'm also not sure if those amber trichs are amber, sometimes the reflection from the red hairs can make trichomes look amber. There are still a lot of white hairs, this is leaving me unsure...

I'd wait a few more days to a week to see if they amber up a bit more (for sure)... The fact that you say they aren't drinking much is also a sign--- I'd say your one week away. Remember, when in doubt, always go longer ! You may gain more weight...I'd also see how those white pistols do...

Hoping others chime in !

Thank you. They’re feeling dense and really sticky/terpy already but I would definitely wait if they decided to get any bigger. I already have a couple fist sized colas and needless to say I am excited 😁

Man, you've waited this long (a lot longer than most)... Stopping short now would be such a shame, especially if its a long flowering Sativa.

Plants looking great, hang in there. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
