Morning guys. With all the moisture in Colo the humidity is screwing up my drying. 95% outside and 65% in the house. Am able to keep it under 60% in the dry/cure room but should be lower. Slowing things down and fucking with my mojo. Warmer drier days are ahead but for now fans are on full blast. Last night with the lights out got close to 70% in both veg and flower.....bad!!

well its tuff if you need to keep odor control down because the Carbon is not as effective in high humidity but as far as mold prevention keep the temp cold and move air well and if you can exchange the air in dring area..this humidity should pass quickly...maybe an ozonator would be helpful for times like these, when I was worried about mold I would put bleach in my humidifier or filters on fans...

as far as humidity in your flower room I would try to keep my canapé at 70° and move the air in thier as much as possible and exchange air....damn man we should have to be needing a dehuey in Colo but the double edged sword is we could always use the rain...hope this doesn't mess with your fishing also...roll with them punches brotha.

Thanks.....I will be fine.....a couple of days with slightly higher humidity is ok. I have exhaust fans in both dry/cure and veg room as well. All rooms, including flower are in the mid 50% range currently. Veg room gets a little higher than I like before the lights pop back on in the morning. But only for a short time. I have 2 fans in there running 24 hours a day.

By monday the humidity will drop a bunch and all will be back to normal.... Hope you are having a good weekend.

Not bad myself.. Been playing catchup outdoors etc. :)

Yeah I hate humidity with a passion.. My de-humidifiers put off heat which means more a.c. and then the electricity cost for both.. LOL

I can deal with low humidity.. High humidity is costly on the wallets.. :)

Oh well that is part of growing.. Roll with the punches.

Hope your weekend is going well also. :)

How can your friend dry @ 20% for 10 days? There would be nothing but dust left.

I start flowering @ 80% humidity and finish @ 65%. Then I chop (whole plants) and hang dry @ 62% for 12-14 days in a dark, sealed room with no fans or carbon filters. I cut the buds off the branches and into paper bags, which go back into the drying room for a few days before manicuring and jarring. After about a week in jars the smell really starts to come out.
