Ashes From Fires, Lake Co

I have a friend up in Lake Co. He just told me he has a lot of ash from the fire coming down. Wondering if it will come off the flowering plants if he washes them down? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hopefully it will. My neighbors and I have just been shaking our plants.

DO NOT WASH, if left dry it will blow off with no harm. Getting a lot of it in Mendo also

i have a 850 acre fire less than a mile from my garden. when the winds change it looks like its snowing. i just bust out the leaf blower and it works like a charm. best of luck, these fires suck

Hey everyone be safe! Those fires haven't stopped all summer out west.

I am not in the same situation but maybe a leaf blower on low setting will help get the ash off the plants.
