I am big on training plants. Automatics just dont seem to have enough veg time to get the full benefit of training.
That is very strain specific and depends on the quality of the grow.
I ran 20 Apple Fritter Autos and they took well to training.
The poor watering and nutrition not so much......
But I was able to time the pull out and turn up for 4 to 5 levels giving my a nice long set of flowers.
The Apple Fritter run was a blast. I am still learning so I threw some fimms and toppings and one I let just go and delivered a nice missile on top. Side lite it for 3 weeks and wow did it grow.
Check out grow diaries.
Hit the 3 horizontal bars up top left. Navigate to forums and then look for grow diaries.
Once in the topic use the search spyglass to add keywords like what you are growing and media type and can even do nutrients.
This will populate grow diaries that match what you are doing.

Totally agree. There are exceptions. Im referring to heavy training. Crushing, bending, and twisting branches, and screens with sensible leaf removal.

My grow style is low n wide. With photos it works great. Them auto girls just dont give me much time to play around with them.

I agree, conditions, medium and nutrients matter big time in what your end product will be with autos. Ive found guys using coco seem to get bigger plants. It is a great medium but ill stick with my promix..lol

I use promix #4 with micronutrients. Time release fertilizer also with micronutrients plus a shot of liquid fertilizer to pump up my seedlings

Taken yesterday. Using this thread to make a time lapse record.

This is yesterday. I let the plant dry back. Then I hit it with 1/2 dose of GH trio and liquid worm castings.
