One thing I noticed at second look..is that green on your perlite? You might be watering too often. Whatcha think @mysticepipedon @steamroller @growsince79

edit: how often are you watering?

I was watering just a little bit every day. I’m using the AC infinity self wicking pots and the roots must have hit the bottom because they a sucking up now. I never soaked them where the pots were heavy but I did do it daily. I was gonna stop watering now they are wicking. What do you think? I think the top will dry up now that it’s drinking from below?

Let us know how well those self watering wicking pots work for you after you've completed your grow. If they work well, great ... but I'd be worried about the bottom part of the pot remaining too wet. It's something to keep an eye on since cannabis prefers to be thoroughly watered and then allowed to dry back before being watered again.

Now with all that said, I have looked at the AC Infinity wicking system and if it works as advertised, it could be a great addition to the grow room.

Yea if you're using self wicking DONT top water. and it sounds like you were improperly watering as well. you want to water til heavy and wait til that fully dries out and then water again.

I germinated the seed in a plastic bag. Then dropped it in the soil. The wicking pots will not start wicking until the roots make it to the bottom of the bag. I had to top water. This is my second round with these pots. The plants will drink them dry and pot will dry out. Just fill it back up when that happens. I just did my first photo grow with them. So until that root hits the bottom of the bag they will remain dry no matter if there is water in them or not.

I love them! I’ve had multiple cervical spine surgeries and another one coming up in a week and a half and was looking for something easy to use. They are so easy to use and it’s impossible to over water. I definitely got what I wanted! My first indoor grow ever using them 3 photos I yielded almost 4 ounces. Just takes the guess work out of watering.
