Hi all,

I’m always looking to improve my cure & I ran into this page:

You stop feeding nitrogen 2 weeks before the end and flush as normal for the last five to seven days. It reduces the chlorophyll content in the buds, therefore kickstarting the cure while the plant is still alive.

Has anyone heard of this? I can’t find much info other than that page. I grow in coco, so I’m not sure where I’d find a coco nutrient that has no nitrogen in it..

EDIT: Sorry, I couldn’t get the link to work for some reason so had to put it in quotes :/

I pretty much stop giving N after 3 -4 weeks into flower .i use to stop when flowering commenced but after growing 30 yrs you find out pretty quickly that most strain deplete there reserves and leaves going yellow way before they are expected to...there is a smorgasboard of organic or synthetic P and K nutrients available for the end of flowering cycle..

Thanks so much for the input - much appreciated as none of my frequented grow shops know anything about this.

I grow in coco with synthetic nutrients (Canna coco).I just can’t seem to find a specific nutrient that has P & K but eliminates nitrogen in this way.

Would you mind pointing me in the direction of something that does this that would work in coco?

Checkout some canna additives such as canna boost and canna PK 13-14 both are synthetic and can b used in coco etc..should b a few guys on here that can chip in on other nutes but i think its best to keep with the same brand right through.

Oh PK 13/14 could be a very clever way to do this actually! It's 0-13-14, so perhaps a much reduced level of this would be perfect, thanks. :)

Your thread title is Autumn Colors affect. Pretty simple way of achieving. Drop your night temps the last 2 weeks of flower to around 60 degrees
